SAgE www.sageband.com Sage is a 4-piece rock band from New Hope, PA. Two guitars, a bass, drums and three part vocal harmonies produce their powerful and fluid sound sometimes reminiscent of bands with more members and several different instruments. Drawing on influences in rock, pop, funk, jazz, reggae, bluegrass, and even heavy metal, Sage captivates a crowd, whipping them into a frenzy of dance and excitement. The energy created by these four musicians has prompted the media to proclaim: “This band is not to be missed!” In April 2003, Sage released their self-titled debut album, a double CD set with 18 original songs. Sage has performed all over the northeast entertaining diverse audiences with their contagious grooves and improvisations. The band’s busy schedule and varied setlists has secured a large and dedicated fan base that travels. Sage has also organized and headlined its own outdoor festival, Jam at the Grove, luring waves of music fans to Bucks County, PA. With the help of its shows, the band's website www.sageband.com, and live concert and studio recordings, people young and old have embraced Sage's music. The band's philosophy is to remain faithful to the spirit of musical exploration while always providing a tangible base from which to experiment.
