Sweta Keswani on how she managed to call a
so-called Hollywood director’s bluff

weta Keswani has one advice for all her colleagues... Beware of people trying to pose
as Hollywood producers or casting
agents. Somebody recently tried to con the
actress, but she caught his bluff on time.
A guy got in touch with her online and
introduced himself as the owner of
some international yacht company. He
said his firm, that was getting into production and making two Hollywood films,
wanted to sign her on. She researched and
found that the yacht company he mentioned existed, so she decided to take the
conversation ahead. The next time he connected with her, he said Kevin Bright who
has directed popular shows like
F.R.I.E.N.D.S and Dream On was directing the film
and that he immediately wanted her to get in
touch with him on video chat. While Sweta was in
conversation with the so-called Kevin Bright, she
googled him to get some more information. She
then asked him what the middle alphabet in his
name (Kevin S Bright) stood for and his reply
exposed him! Says Sweta, “I figured there was
something weird when he didn’t turn on his
video while chatting. Anyway, I’m glad I didn’t
give out any personal information. I always
tread with caution... guilty until proven innocent with strangers!” Hmmm...

to raise an alarm. A rather worried Amrita
after sliding into her on-screen costume
turned to her trusted creative team for reassurance but to her dismay, she found them
telling her the truth. “Yes! They told me I was

have decided
to bring in
Season 2 of
the show. The
inaugural season last year
aired before
the launch of

Crorepati.

the air-waves

Krushna Abhishek
game show.

Krushna, “Comedy Ka Daily Soap 2 will
launch after KBC. The show didn’t do bad
but didn't get the response as was expected from the viewers. I am very excited to
be back with the show.” We hope it clicks
this time!
