Call to Worship
from Psalm 106: 1,2; 47, 48
Praise the LORD!
O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever.
Who can utter the mighty doings of the LORD, or declare all his praise?
Gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name
and glory in your praise.
Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting.
Praise the Lord!
*Hymn #263
“Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise”
ST. DENIO
*Prayer of Adoration and the Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy
will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and
forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the
glory forever. Amen.
Call to Confession
Prayer of Confession
O God, when trials beset us it is natural to fear.
You call us to be courageous, but we often find our faith lacking.
When asked to take risks, we often take the easy way out.
And when unfair things happen to other people, we are often too timid to speak out.
But you, O Lord, are the God of justice and compassion; you are to be trusted!
Have mercy on us. Forgive us our sin.
Lead us forward even when the way seems dangerous. Lord, hear our prayer.

for 14 weeks – Limited class size If you
are feeling “stuck” in any area of your life,
this group is for you! Through this coaching process, you will reflect on your life;
identify your transferable skills; identify
driving motivators, interrupted dreams
and golden threads throughout your life;
discover new “packages’ for your skills
and identify an “ultimate” direction and
strategy
for
getting
there.
Preregistration required. Cost: $175.

available for qualifying surviving spouses
of deceased veterans with wartime service. “VA Pension” is a needs-based benefit paid to wartime Veterans (or surviving
spouses) who meet certain age or nonservice connected disability requirements.
Grief Coaching Group - Tuesday, September 13, 7-8:30 PM, 5 weeks This new approach to grief work is focused on guiding
participants through the process of
mourning their loss and getting started on
the road to recovery. Coach leaders will
help participants to recognize their own
ability to heal, confront the challenges,
and take action at a time when these attributes are not readily apparent to a
struggling survivor. Pre-registration is
mandatory. Call 931-5777 or email [email protected] to register or for additional information.
