The Atta Rainforest Lodge is simple yet rustic enough to give you a real jungle feeling. Every aspect of this lodge is
designed not only to preserve nature and wild life but also to hand it to you in a package you cannot resist. It is located in
Iwokrama.

The Atta lodge is a comfortable hammock camp within the Iwokrama Forest Reserve, a short walk from the Iwokrama
canopy walkway. Surrounded by pristine forest and built in collaboration with local communities using natural materials, the
lodge is surprisingly comfortable and features a bar, a sitting area and a modern bathroom and shower block.

Activities

There are guided tours into the forest and also to the canopy walkway, particularly to watch the birds at dawn and dusk. In
this area, you are most likely to witness a jaguar in its natural habitat. Other activities include nightly drives along the dirt
road which leads to the lodge and this is where the likelihood of spotting a jaguar along with other beautiful animals
increases.

Accommodation

There are two thatched sleeping areas on either side of the bathroom, providing shelter for 8 hammocks apiece strung up
side by side across the structure. There are plans to convert one of the shelters into a number of independent rooms.

Orinduik Falls can be found on the Ireng River which is located on the western border between Guyana
and Brazil. This river forms one of the streams of the Amazon River system. The falls are situated amid
the rolling, grass-covered hills of the Pakaraima Mountains, one of the most beautiful regions of
Guyana's hinterland. In contrast to the dramatic gorge at Kaieteur.

It is said that the name Orinduik is derived from the Amerindian name for an aquatic plant found at
these falls.

Orinduik Falls is typically included as a throw-in for the day tour to Kaieteur Falls. It's a wide, multitiered series of cascades, and it's really a waterfall that allows for swimming or soaking to cool off from
the tropical heat. The water splashes pleasantly down 25m (80ft) of rocks and ledges of jasper. Beyond
that, there's really not a whole lot more to this waterfall - especially when it's the follow-up act to
Kaieteur Falls.

Perhaps the best view of the falls is obtained from the air, where you can witness its full context.

On the ground, it's difficult to photograph the entire waterfall so you'll have to pick and choose how
you want to compose it.

Orinduik is ideally suited for swimming.

One of the tallest single drop waterfalls is located in our beautiful Guyana. Located on the Potaro River
in the Kaieteur natural park, it stands at an amazing 223 meters from its sandstone cliff and is 113
meters wide. It is the mighty Kaieteur. It flows over a series of cascades and if included in its
measurements, brings it to a towering 251 meters which is more than 800 ft. It is not only its height
that makes it magnificent but the rare fact that it combines its height with a water volume that puts it
in a league almost of its own. This makes it safe to say that it is one of the most powerful waterfalls in
the world.

Upon hearing the sounds of monkeys and jaguars, snakes and birds you realize that it is only in a place
like this that nature can hit you right in the face. The sound encapsulates what paradise really is and
has the ability to make you feel small and still appreciate every minute of it. The round trip takes five
days four nights and commences with an eight hour trip to Madhia which is a small town. The next
three days would be dedicated trekking overland to the bottom of the fall and if you like challenges,
know that one awaits you, for the trek up to the top of the fall is a challenge indeed. However all of that
is quickly diminished when you arrive at the top and realize that all that hard work paid off. The ages
of guests to date have ranged ten to seventy years of age. The overland tour is available all year
round.

For fly-in visits to Kaieteur Falls, guests normally remain on-site between two and four hours depending on the
flight schedule and/or the tour operator. The day tour is available all year round. Upon your arrival, you will get
the chance to view the Kaieteur Falls from five separate vantage points (Johnson's view, Boy Scout view, Rainbow
view, Break view, Lookout view). Visitors are later guided along rainforest trails by a knowledgeable tour
guide. With a little patience you can usually get a close up view of the beautiful, but poisonous 'golden frog'
and, if you are lucky, you'll catch a glimpse of the orange 'Cock-of-the Rock'. You will also make the
acquaintance of several attractive carnivorous plants, some of which feed on insects.

CUSTOM DESIGNED TOUR
For those who wish to enjoy the complete experience of both Kaieteur Falls and the National Park, there is a regularly scheduled regional
flight (not a packaged tour) which flies to Kaieteur Falls three times a week (Sun, Wed & Fri, @ 9 AM). It is imperative, however, to take
your own water, food and other supplies to last. Also, there are additional expenses such as park entrance fees (US$12/person),
accommodation fees (US$14/night) and guide fee (negotiable) to be considered that would normally be included in the total package
price from a tour operator. The ticket can be purchased either at the Georgetown regional Ogle airport from tour operators.

Important things to carry
T-shirts, shorts or long pants, non-slip footwear, face cloth, towel, hat, sun glasses, insect repellent, sun block, camera, film etc.

ACCOMMODATIONS
This guest house offers a view of the nearby falls. There are two bedrooms, each with two beds.
One of these bedrooms is self contained and the other is of a regular standard.
Additionally there are twelve hammocks that can be hung in the guesthouse.
All beds and hammocks are equipped with nets although very few mosquitoes are found on site.

The annual Fish Festival began in September of 2006 in the small fishing village of “Rockstone” located on the western bank of the
Essequibo River (the country's longest river, it rises in the Serra Acaraí, near the southern frontier with Brazil, and flows north for 1,010
km (630 mi) to the Atlantic Ocean, near Georgetown, where it forms a wide estuary). This event attracts approximately 1200 visitors both
local and from overseas.

Registration usually begins at 5:00 hrs and boats are available to take fishermen/women out to their spots of choice within the
jurisdictions and bring them back at 15:00 hrs on conclusion of the competition. At that time they bring in their catch to be judged and
winners announced.

Fishing rods and bait will also be available for sale. Since there are activities for children and adults, parents are encouraged to bring
along the children. In addition there are relaxing boat rides along the river if you don not just want to relax and enjoy the activities
around you.

Food, drinks and fresh fish will also be available on sale.

An early start is always encouraged so that you can take advantage of all of the offers available since Linden is the place to be. Hotels,
guest houses and bed and breakfast facilities are also available at reasonable rates.

Pre-eminent among the three hundred and sixty-five islands in the mighty
Essequibo is this wonderful little paradise with 187 acres of lush green foliage and colorful
tropical flowers.

Five miles South of Bartica, it is the gateway to the unspoiled rainforest of
Guyana and the junction where the great Essequibo and Mazaruni Rivers meet.
The Resort has a seventeen-room capacity, with 13 self-contained superior rooms and 4 standard
rooms. Additionally, the resort houses a modern conference/boardroom facility with a 30-seat capacity and an
additional gazebo that can accommodate up to 60 persons.
You could enjoy a 20-minute flight directly to the island from Georgetown or a picturesque trip of a one-hour
drive along the coast and one hour by boat from the mouth of the Essequibo. At Baganara Island Resort we
offer a variety of other outdoor activities including canoeing, fishing, water skiing, kayaking, volleyball, table
tennis, pools, riding wave runners, banana boats, pedal boats or simply sunbathing and swimming. You can
answer the call of the wild along our jungle walk, where you'll find many different species of flora and fauna.
The Green House is a business centre with a boardroom styled conference facility and 2 deluxe room fully self
contained rooms. It is named for the first manager on the Island, Mr. Freddy Green. Baganara Island Resort is an
Island in the Essequibo river. It is 187 acres and has a private airstrip (2000 Ft runway)

The word Bartica comes from the Amerindian word meaning “red earth”, which you will
see in abundance when you visit this town. It was developed as an Anglican Missionary
settlement in 1842.

Bartica is located on the left bank of the Essequibo River in region 7 at the intersection
of the Cuyuni and Mazaruni Rivers with the Essequibo and can be accessed from Parika.
This town has a population of 15,000 residents and is considered the gateway to the
interior, especially for those people who do gold and diamond mining in the bush.

This town has only one secondary school and two primary schools; however, there are
several other primary schools in surrounding communities. Just next door, north of
Bartica, there are still remains of the Dutch fort Kyk-Over-Al, Essequibo and Marshall
Falls.

ACCOMMODATIONS

There is always accommodation available from some prominent hotel in this town. The New Modern Hotel, Zen’s Plaza and
the Platinum Inn.

And the night life here is not lacking since there is a nightclub located in the Modern Hotel Building.

Bartica has a significant Brazilian population, so one can only imagine the Brazilian dishes from their restaurants and Bars.

Nearby to Bartica are also some of our most famous resorts; Shanklands, Whitewater, Baganara just to name a few. This
added to everything else make Bartica the place to be.

During the Easter weekend, there is the annual Bartica Regatta. At the Regatta there are water sports (mainly speedboats),
cricket, boxing, football, talent shows, street parades and the main attraction; the Bartica Regatta Pageant.

In addition there is a summer regatta which is held annually in August.

Hurukabra River Resort is on the West Bank of the Essequibo River about two hours journey
from Georgetown, the capital city of Guyana.

This Nature Resort features a choice of the beautifully appointed Mango Tree Villa or the cozy
Bamboo cottage on the waterfront set against a backdrop of a tropical forest, bamboo groves,
mango trees and an abundance of bird-life.

The Beach Bar & Grill serves up ice-cold beers and your favorite cocktails along with
sumptuous Bar-B-Ques and grill foods. It caters for large groups on day visits, meetings and
celebrations. The Beach Bar & Grill is a great place to hang out on your overnight stay.


3 hours by road through rainforest.

communities in and surrounding the forest and to the conservation of what lies within. You will also contribute towards the development of an ecofriendly sustainable tourism model which can be shared locally, nationally and with the international community.”

About 300 miles away from the capital city Georgetown is a forest called Iwokrama. It includes 360 kilometers of lush,
untouched rainforest and has become the home of the Iwokrama international centre.

Over 18 years ago, the Guyana government decided to dedicate the Iwokrama forest to the international community to be
used for demonstration and scientific research. Here the social, economic and ecological nature and the potential of tropical
rainforests can be studied and tested without hindrance.

The Iwokrama Forest encompasses about almost one million acres (3,700 sq. km / 370,000 hectares / 1,429 sq. miles)
with a boundary of 442km (274 mi.). At its widest, the area is 85 km (53 mi.), and the greatest extent in a north-south
direction is 80km (50 mi.). The Georgetown-Lethem Road dissects the Forest, traversing about 72km (45 mi.) between the
northeastern and southern boundaries. The Forest lies between 4 and 5 degrees north latitude and 58.5 and 59.5 degrees
west longitude

Arrowpoint Nature Resort is named after the many Arrow Trees found in the area, which is used by the Amerindians
to make their arrows for hunting. The Resort itself is set against the backdrop of the Rainforest which is a haven for
birdwatchers and nature lovers since there is an abundance of wildlife including 350 species of birds. There is also a
maze of jungle trails used for Nature Walks and Mountain Biking. In the foreground is a stretch of white sandy beach
sloping gently into the refreshing cool black waters of the Pokerero Creek.

The Arrowpoint nature resort was opened ten years ago and so many years later, the vision of having a place where
one can go and relax in a calming atmosphere just keeps getting better. This resort lies on the Pokerero Creek and is
a tributary of the Demerara River.

The Arrowpoint Resort consists of four cabins. There are two rooms in the main house and a conference room that
cam accommodate thirty persons.

Activities
The activities at Arrowpoint are numerous, educational and exciting. Whether it’s the thrill of Bird Watching, the
excitement of Mountain Biking, Hiking, Kayaking, Pedal boating, Surf-Biking or simply relaxing in a hammock with a
book, visitors will discover nature while having great fun and adventure.

This area is mainly populated by the Makushi tribe. It is located in the Amerindian villages of Annai and
Rupertee on the North Rupununi Savannahs of Guyana, where the foothills of the Pakaraima mountain
range meet the tropical rainforest. The Iwokrama International Centre Field Research Station and the
fourteen villages of the indigenous Makushi people are easily accessible. This is probably the prime
spot for bird watching. The Lodge is accessible by land or air from both Georgetown and Brazil (Boa
Vista and Bon Fin).

The Rupununi is a vast area of dry grasslands, with sparse trees, termite mounds and wooded hills in
the Southwest of the country. The savannah is divided into the North and South Rupununi by the
Kanuku Mountains; it is scattered with occasional Amerindian villages and a few large cattle ranches
which date from the nineteenth century. Every year the rains flood the savannah. In many areas it is
possible to move about only by boat during this season, allowing for exciting water tours of the
Rupununi beautiful forest areas.

Residents of Madewini Resort are allowed 2 annual parking passes. Vehicles must be
registered with security and will be assigned annual stickers.

There will be no “on street” parking for any car, truck, boat, RV or other vehicles. All
parking must be on each resident’s own lot. On street parking for guests will be allowed
only for pre-approved functions.

Visitors will only be allowed through security with verification from resident. If resident
is expecting a visitor or visitors on a specific day, the resident may leave a list with the
security desk. This list is only valid for the day. It is important to know that for security
purposes NO unauthorized visitors will be allowed entry, so it is important for the
resident to either leave an authorization in advance or be available to authorize visitors
upon their arrival.

A monthly maintenance fee will be assessed per house. This fee will cover; security,
resident’s routine yard maintenance, sewage, garbage collection, water, and other costs
for common grounds.

The maintenance fee is set at $75.00 USD/$15,000 GYD per month and is subject to
review and possible adjustment every 6 months.

The open dining area of the conference building at Splashmin’s can be booked at no charge for
religious services or meetings on any evening, or Saturday/Sunday.

Bookings for use of this facility will have to be made a week in advance and every attempt will be made
to honor the request if the facility is not otherwise in use. Please specify how long the facility will be
needed and maintain that schedule.

In the future, the multi-purpose room in the assisted living center will be available for this purpose.

They must also specify in their request the time they wish to occupy the facility and for what period of
time

The number of person who would be in attendance
