TAB members are teens in grades 6-12 who volunteer two hours a month to help us make the library a teen-friendly place. They share their opinions and ideas about library-sponsored teen events at TAB meetings and help to create this newsletter. We will be accepting applications to join TAB in September. Get great prizes just for reading. Stop by the Teen Zone Desk to register or register online. Then just pick up a reading log and you’re set. Throughout the summer join us for gaming, hands-on programs, and movie showings. Check out the rest of this newsletter for details and don’t forget to sign up. Movie Showings Here’s how the reading program works: 1. Read 6 hours to complete a level. 2. Bring in your reading log and collect a prize. 3. Enter a weekly drawing to win movie passes and other goodies. 4. When you finish, enter to win one of three Grand Prize baskets with books, DVDs, and coupons. 5. Keep reading for more chances in the Grand Prize drawings. All movies will be shown in the Broomfield Auditorium located adjacent to the library. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Movies start at 7 p.m. Seating limited and available on first come, first served basis. No food or drinks allowed. Open to all ages. Children under 13 must come with someone 13 or older.
