Clockwork Walls by Jennifer
by Danielle
Clockwork compass
Spirals in the wall
Twisting, turning, firing
Sharper, fours, faces,
Points you home
And to your death.
Swiftly just
And justly deft.
Clockwork faces
Watching from the wall
Seering, jeering, grinning
Turn on turn
Laugh and talk
Or break the spell
And blur the line
Between the worlds.

What is TAB? TAB members are teens in grades 6-12 who
volunteer two hours a month to help us make the library a
teen-friendly place. They share their opinions and ideas about
library-sponsored teen events at TAB meetings and help to
create this newsletter.
We will be accepting applications to join TAB in
September. Please check back this fall for more information on
volunteering.
