Maintaining high standards has earned Dr. Williams accolades for her role in business, her company and her community service achievements. Merry Green President & CEO of Merry Green Promotions Group Beginning her career in radio and television, Merry Green gained the experience necessary to open her Special Events, Marketing/Promotions and Public Relations Firm, Merry Green Promotions Group (MGPG). MGPG has successfully developed community relations and outreach campaigns for a number of premiere events such as V103’s Expo for Today’s Black Woman and The National Reparations Convention under Ald. Dorothy Tillman, to name a few. Deborah M. Sawyer & Leslie A. Williams Founder & CHMM, President & CEO and Vice President of Business Development of Environmental Design International Deborah Sawyer is the mastermind behind Environmental Design International (EDI), a Certified Woman and Minority Business Enterprise that offers civil engineering, land surveying and environmental services to a list of prestigious clients, including federal and local public agencies and private clients. Leslie Williams is responsible for the overall business development and marketing for EDI. She develops and evaluates potential client needs while netting the company over $1 million in sales per year.
