The events over those few days included seminars such as How to Maximize Social Media and Committee meetings discussing topics of current interest such as the compromise reached with the Energy Code. If you would like to view the recommendation for adoption, please contact me and I will forward a copy to you. On the final day, the Board of Directors meeting was held with Regional President’s reports, a few minor action items, committee reports and announcements. With 2014 being an election year, political discussions and presentations were made for the position of Third ViceChair for National. Neither candidate won majority of the votes so no endorsement was made. Next State meeting will be October 30, 2014 in Jackson, Mi. Enjoy the rest of the summer and above all, work safe and play safe. Kindest Regards, Cathleen Martelli, President Associates Council: Joe Kozuch, Chair Thanks to everyone who participated in the July 23 HBA golf outing from the sponsors, to the golfers, volunteers and committee. Mother Nature gave us a beautiful day! The committee asked Jodi to send out a Survey Monkey asking a few questions about future outings. She was able to send out 100; if you received one please take a minute to fill it out. It is very much appreciated. Watch for details soon about the Oct 9 (Thursday) Hunt Night! Joe Kozuch Remodelers Council: Mike Kozuch, Chair Good Summer to all! This is baseball season and the Tigers made another move to solidify their starting rotation by trading for David Price. It is looking pretty good for the Tigers to make the playoffs again this year and hopefully get into the World Series again. So let's fill that bus going to Comerica on August 15th; a number of you stated you wanted a trip this summer so let's "step up to the plate"! We are currently planning the Welcome Back general membership meeting at KJP Sales on Sept 10th. It is sure to be a good time with an interesting venue this time; watch for updates from Jodi.
