VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR
YOUTH GROUP AND
CONFIRMATION
The High School Youth Group (TYM) and
Confirmation Program are in need of a few additional adult
volunteers. These are important ministries that help our youth on
their journey with Christ. The confirmation program needs a
person (or a pair working together) to serve as a catechist for one
of the classes. The classes are two Sunday evenings per month
from September to April. The TYM program needs a couple of
additional adults to work with the youth group, which participates
in a variety of activities to enrich the faith of the teenagers (and
adults too). To inquire about volunteering, contact

2010-2011 FAITH FORMATION
Registration packets are now available
in the Information Center in front of the main office and also online. Final registration is the
weekend of September 4th/5th. ( No Exceptions)
DEVELOPMENT OF AN UNBORN
CHILD Month 8: In the last two months,
the baby continues to gain weight. The
baby is developing a layer of fat that will keep her warm
after she is born. In the 9th month, the baby will shift to a
head-down position, preparing for birth. The baby’s lungs
are now fully developed and capable of making the
transition to breathing air. After birth, the baby will
continue the human growth process for many years to come.
Please remember to keep these unborn children in your
thoughts and prayer. St Bernadette Respect Life Ministry.

THE RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION
FOR ADULTS (RCIA)
We invite any non-Catholic to learn more about the
Catholic faith and its beliefs. If you are already a
baptized Catholic adult and need to receive First Holy
Communion or Confirmation, RCIA is also for you.
Registration, orientation and the first class will be held
on Tuesday, September 14th at 7PM in Room 5.

ADORACIÓN EUCARÍSTICA
“Dios es Espíritu; y los que le adoren, en espíritu y en verdad
es necesario que adoren” , nos declara bella y poéticamente
Nuestro Salvador Jesucristo.
Si usted necesita llenar su vida con la Presencia de Dios, le
hacemos la más cordial invitación a que dedique una hora de

Santísimo está expuesto todos los miércoles y viernes, desde

30 AÑOS DE SACERDOTE
El Padre Chesco celebra 30 años como sacerdote.

RETIRO ESPIRITUAL
El sábado 14 de agosto, el P. Chesco conducirá un Retiro
Espiritual de un día y está abierto a todos los fieles de la parroquia. El costo será de módicos $10 y habrá cuidado de
niños. Esté preparado y aparte la fecha en su calendario de
las 9 hasta las 5 PM. Esté pendiente de las listas de inscripción para que asegure su lugar.
LA SAGRADA ESCRITURA
“La ignorancia de las Escrituras es ignorancia de Cristo” nos dice
San Jerónimo, Padre y Doctor de la Iglesia.
Usted puede llegar a conocer los hermosos misterios de Cristo revelados en el Libro Divino dedicando una hora de su tiempo cada
sábado, a las 7 PM, a los estudios bíblicos impartidos por el Padre
Chesco, aquí en nuestra parroquia.
Se ha consolidado ya un importante grupo de asistentes que han
aprendido a amar más y más la Palabra de Dios. Nunca es tarde
para que usted se nos una, siempre habrá un asiento disponible
para todo aquel que quiera participar.

Nuestra parroquia está retomando el importante ministerio de
