I would like to thank you for being a part of our
community that helps our programs expand our
parishioners’ spiritual awareness.
Quiero tomar esta oportunidad para darle las gracias por
ser parte de nuestra comunidad y por su ayuda en ampliar
el conocimiento espiritual de nuestros feligreses.
One of the ways we support our parish is the protection
of our children. This is where our Safe Environment
Training comes in. To accomplish this goal we need
every volunteer to complete the training. We need 100%
compliance with the Diocesan Safe Environment
requirements for those who work and volunteer in our
school and in our parish.
Una de las maneras de apoyar nuestra parroquia es en la
protección de nuestros niños. Aquí es donde entra nuestra
capacitación de Ambiente Seguro. Para lograr este
objetivo, necesitamos 100% cumplimiento de todos los
voluntarios con los requisitos del Ambiente Seguro
establecido por la Diócesis de Fresno de personas que son
empleados o voluntarios en nuestra escuela y parroquia.
The year 2015 was the renewal year for Safe
Environment training, and Our Lady of Victory Parish
and School did not meet the necessary requirements. It
was brought to my attention that many of our volunteers
and employees had not updated their training and or
renewed their Code of Conduct. This places our parish
and diocese at risk but more importantly it places the
safety of our children at risk.
El año 2015 fue seleccionado por el Obispo Ochoa para
que todos renovaran su entrenamiento de Ambiente
Seguro; y vino a mí atención que muchos de nuestros
voluntarios no cumplieron con el deber de actualizar su
formación de Ambiente Seguro u no renovaron su Código
de Conducta. Esto pone a nuestra parroquia y la Diócesis
en riesgo; pero aún más importante, pone la seguridad
de nuestros niños en riesgo.
All who need to renew their Safe Environment (SE)
training and update their Code of Conduct must do
immediately. If you have not filled out a volunteer form
or not done any training, you must do so as soon as
possible. Everyone has to sign a Code of Conduct. If you
are a volunteer and do not work with children, you do not
need to take the (SE) training. You will need only to
complete a volunteer form and return it to Lina Gámez in
the Parish Center Office along with a signed Code of
Conduct.
Si usted es un voluntario y no trata con los niños, por
favor llene y firme el formulario de voluntarios y la hoja
de Codigo de Conducta y regrésenlos a la oficina del
Centro Parroquial con atención a Lina Gámez.
If you do work directly with children, you can either
complete the (SE) training online or attend a class. More
information about both of these options will be coming
soon. Also, you must be fingerprinted. If you have
already been fingerprinted you do not have to be
fingerprinted again.

community of caring, compassionate volunteers who shar ein
the ministry of visiting the sick and Eucharistic Ministry.

In preparation for the Guild’s Christmas Boutique in
November, the Women’s Altar Guild would like to invite
anyone interested in lending their artistic and decorating
talents to attend their Christmas Boutique Summer
Workshops. All items made will be sold at their
Christmas Boutique and Bake Sale. All profits gained are
used to support expenses associated with the needs of
the altar.
All workshop dates are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to
11:30 a.m., at McGovern Hall.

TALLERES DE ORACIÓN Y VIDA
Los Talleres de Oración y Vida son una nueva forma de
Evangelización; más viva y con una visión más positiva de lo
que siempre se nos ha mostrado. Los talleres son un servicio
para aprender y profundizar en el arte de orar: “Orando se
aprende a orar.”
Los Talleres fueron fundados por el Rev. Ignacio Larrañaga,
sacerdote Franciscano Capuchino, originario de España, quien
desarrólló una amplia labor animadora y evangelizadora mas
de durante 25 años en América Latina, Norte-América y
Europa. El Taller dura un período de 16 semanas y se llevará
a cabo:
