from the 1800s. The landlord’s residence and garden, the
country store, the fisherman’s cabins and the boathouse with
its traditional Nordland-style boats. Coastal history is reborn via
AV-shows and exhibitions about the Lofoten Fishery, the fishing
ports and trade fairs. The Lofoten Museum is cultural heritage
and idyll in the original setting of the harbour in Storvågan.

Jahrhunderts mit Wohnhaus und Garten des „Fischerdorfbesitzers“ im Mittelpunkt. Diesem gehörte damals fast alles: Laden,
Fischerhütten, Bootshäuser mit Nordlandbooten. In Tonbildschauen und Ausstellungen veranschaulichen wir die Geschichte
der nordnorwegischen Küste, den Lofotfischfang, Fischereihäfen
und Jahrmärkte. Das Lofot-Museum ist Kulturerbe und Idylle am
ursprünglichen Hafen von Storvågan.
