izengoitiarekin. ZUNARrek gobernuaren ustelkeriaren eta botere gehiegikerien
aurkako arma gisa erabiltzen ditu karikaturak. Bere liburuetatik zazpi
Malaysiako gobernuak debekatu zituen eta debekatuta ditu
Lleva 20 años dibujando viñetas editoriales en Malasia bajo el seudónimo
de “Zunar”. ZUNAR utiliza las caricaturas como arma para combatir la
corrupción y el abuso de poder del gobierno de Malasia. Tiene 7 libros
censurados.
ZUNAR has been drawing editorial cartoons for the past 20 years in
Malaysia. ZUNAR uses his drawing pen as a weapon to fight state
corruption and abuse of power. Seven of his books are banned by the
Malaysian government.

Sei errefuxiatu, Sierra Leonako guda basatiaren biktimak, musika taldea
osatzen dute reggae ikutuaren abestiak egiten dituzte eta grabatu dute Keith
Ricards, Paul McCartneym Ice Cube edo ta Joe Perry-rekin besteak beste.
Margolari eta eskultore honi bere lanarekin Mugabe Presidentea iraintzea leporatu diote
Zinbabuen. Owenen margolanek, funtsean, Zinbabueko egunerokotasuna erakusten
dute, askotan oso berea duen estilo irrigarri eta ironikoaz. Seis refugiados, víctimas de la brutal Guerra en Sierra Leona, forman una
banda y hacen canciones con un toque de reggae que han grabado junto
a Keith Richards, Paul McCartney, Ice Cube y Joe Perry.
Las exposiciones de Owen ridiculizan y exponen la corrupción, las violaciones
y falta de honradez del gobierno de Zimbaue en inquietantes y siniestras
instalaciones y pinturas.
A group of six Sierra Leonean musicians who came together to form a band while
living as refugees. A brutal civil war forced them from their homes in Sierra Leona.
Through music they find a place of refuge, a sense of purpose and a source of power.
Zimbabwean visual artist and installation artist, described as “one of Zimbabwe’s
most prominent artists”. His works referred to the massacres of Ndebele civilians
during the Gukurahundi in the 1980s, carried out by forces loyal to Robert Mugabe.
Uses his exhibit to break the silence surrounding the conflict and give people a
chance to tell the stories that are part of the ‘hidden history’ of Zimbabwe.

Este documental es una mirada íntima a la cultura Tuareg del Desierto del
Sahara cuya música está interpretada por el extraordinario músico Tuareg,
Bombino. Cuenta la historia de una antigua tribu nómada del Sahara que
desde el siglo XII han recorrido Africa del Norte hasta el Oeste, guiando
su caravanas de camellos a través del desierto llenando de arte y música
todo cuanto recorrían, desde Egipto hasta Mali.
The film is an intimate look at the Tuareg culture of the Sahara Desert
and features the music of the extraordinary Tuareg musician, Bombino.
Tells the story of an ancient Saharan nomadic tribe who since the 12th
Century have linked North Africa and West Africa guiding their camel
caravans across the desert spreading art and music from Egypt to Mali.
