Registration Begins Thursday, March 22nd, 2011 at 8:00 a.m.
Trade in your current backpack blower (must be fully operational) and
replace it with a new STIHL BR 500 backpack blower for the SCAQMDsubsidized price of only $100. Supplies are limited.You must pre-register for
one of the three exchange events listed below. Reservations will be taken
on a first-come, first-served basis.
When you call to register, we will ask for your name, address, phone
number, the exchange location/date of your choice, and the number of
working blowers you intend to exchange. You will be given a confirmation
number and a half-hour time slot to arrive at the event. Your reservation will
only be good for the day and location of the event you choose. Cash and
major credit cards will be accepted at the events.

• Be a professional gardener/landscaper.
• Live and work in San Bernardino City.
• If you live outside of the San Bernardino City limits, proof that you
work in San Bernardino City limits will be required.
SCAQMD does not warrant or endorse any product. Any warranties on the STIHL BR 500
leaf blower are limited to those provided by the manufacturer. The STIHL BR 500 is a
gasoline-powered leaf blower, and may be subject to local restrictions. It is the user’s
responsibility to comply with all local ordinances.
This program is a part of the AQMD’s 2010 Clean Communities Plan funded by a grant from the US EPA.

Canjee su sopladora tipo mochila (La cual deberá funcionar perfectamente)
y reemplácela con una sopladora de hojas STIHL BR 500 nueva, por el
precio subsidiado por SCAQMD de tan sólo US$100. Las existencias son
limitadas. Es necesario inscribirse previamente en uno de los 3 eventos.
Las reservaciones se aceptarán en orden de llegada.

STIHL BR 500 quedan limitadas a las que ofrece el fabricante. La STIHL BR 500 es una
sopladora de hojas con motor de gasolina, y puede estar sujeto a ciertas restricciones

Cuando llame para inscribirse, le pediremos su nombre, dirección, número

únicamente para el día y lugar del evento que ha seleccionado. Se aceptara
dinero en efectivo, tarjetas de credito y ordenes pre-anticipadas tambien
seran aceptadas en el evento.
Para calificar en el intercambio de sopladoras tiene que ser:
• Ser un jardinero profesional (ciudad de San Bernardino Y el
condado de San Bernardino tambien es elegible)
• Vivir y/o travajar en la ciudad de San Bernardino o el condado de
San Bernardino. Si usted vive fuera de San Bernardino, prueba de
que usted travaja en San Bernardino será requerida.
