Ame a su prójimo Y a usted
mismo
“You shall love your neighbor as
yourself” (Matthew 22:39) commands us
to treat other people with love. In truth,
we can only love our neighbor to the
extent that we love ourselves. Do you
have trouble believing that you deserve love?
Consider this:
God doesn’t make mistakes. By nature he is
perfect and can’t make anything bad. God
created each of us and “looked at everything he
had made, and he found it very good” (Genesis
1:31). That means you, too.
Look with God’s eyes. Don’t chase after other
people’s approval. Too much of h ow we see
ourselves depends upon how others see us. God
loves us as we are and considers us precious.
“See, upon the palms of my hands I have written
your name” (Isaiah 49:16).
Love with God’s heart. Spend time with Jesus by
praying, reading Scripture, and attending Mas.
When you let yourself be filled up with Jesus’
love, you will find yourself so full that love will
overflow to those around you - just like he
commanded.
“Amaras a tu prójimo como a ti
mismo” (Mateo 22:39) nos ordena
que tratemos a los demás con amor.
En realidad solo podemos amar a
nuestro prójimo en la medida que
nos amemos a nosotros mismos. Le cuesta trabajo
pensar que necesita amor?, tenga en cuenta lo
siguiente:
Dios no comete errores. Es perfecto por
naturaleza y no puede hacer nada malo. Dios
creo a cada uno de nosotros y “vio que todo
cuanto había hecho era muy bueno” (Génesis
1:31). Eso significa que usted también lo es.
Mire con los ojos de Dios. No busque el visto
bueno de los demás. Como nos vemos suele
depender excesivamente de cómo nos vean los
demás. Dios nos ama y para el somos valiosos.
“Mira como te tengo grabada en la palma de mis
manos” (Isaías 49:16).
Ame con el corazón de Dios. Pase tiempo con
Jesús rezando, leyendo las Escrituras y asistiendo
a Misa. Cuando se llene con el amor de Jesús se
hallará tan lleno de amor que impregnará
también a los que le rodean, tal como El ordenó.

One family of the community, previously scheduled, will receive a special blessing from the
Priest along with the "Vocations Cup" and the guidelines to follow during the week. The main
objective is to pray with your family for the increase of priestly and religious vocations.
If you are interested in taking the Vocation Cup home for one week, please write to us @

will be attending with your family.
The following weekend, the family will return the "Vocations Cup" at the offertory. Gratitude

us for a Community Baby Shower during Respect life Month: October 2016

Supplies, Gifts, Baby Products and Furniture are NEEDED All Year Long. Here are a few
ideas of what the Mothers and Babies are looking for!
•
Supplies: Diapers (especially 1 through 5), Wipes, Towels, Shampoo &
Powder, Pacifiers & Bibs
•
New Gift Items: Receiving Blankets, Baby Clothes, Hats, Socks & Shoes, Sleepers &
gowns, Onesies.
If you can donate New or Used Furniture: Cribs, Car Seats, Strollers, High Chairs, Bassinets, Playpens…. Please call the
Parish office to make arrangements for pick up.
Please drop donations of supplies and items (NOT THE FURNITURE) to the Church at ANY MASS during the entire month of October.
Respect Life Month Baby Bottle Campaign
We will have a “Baby bottle campaign” for the benefit of the Central Broward Respect Life Pregnancy Help Center of the
Archdiocese of Miami. The Central Broward Respect Life Ministry helps women with unplanned pregnancies to choose life for their
baby instead of abortion. Help us share the truth and the mercy of God with young women and teens who find themselves facing
an unplanned pregnancy.
We will distribute Baby Bottles on the weekend of October 8 & 9. Please take a bottle or two and fill them with coins, bills or
checks and return them during the month of October.
Campaña de Biberones
Durante todo el mes de Octubre, vamos a realizar nuevamente la campaña de biberones para ayudar al Centro de ayuda para
embarazadas Respeto a La Vida de la Arquidiócesis de Miami.
El Ministerio de Respeto a la Vida de Central Broward ayuda a mujeres embarazadas para que decidan continuar con su embarazo,
y den un si a la vida, rechazando el aborto.
Ayúdanos a compartir la verdad y Misericordia de Dios con mujeres y adolescentes que están afrontando un embarazo no
planificado.
Vamos a distribuir los biberones el fin de semana del 8 & 9 de octubre durante todas las misas.
También se necesitan:
•
Pañales (especialmente tallas entre 1 y 5), coches, toallas húmedas, shampoo, talco, biberones
•
Cobijitas, ropa de bebe, medias, zapaticos.
•
Si usted puede donar, muebles nuevos o usados: Cunas, Asiento para el carro, coches, sillas altas,…..favor, comuníquese
con la oficina parroquial, para hacer los arreglos de la entrega.
Por favor tome uno o dos biberones y llénelos con monedas, billetes o cheques y tráigalos de vuelta durante todo el mes de

Please drop-off your child either at the porte-cochère (under the bell tower) if they have class in the
church or behind the church if they have class inside the portable classrooms.

Dismissal is promptly at 4:30 p.m. or 6:15 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. Please pick up your children promptly at
these dismissal times. Students that have class in the portable may be picked up in the car-pool loop
behind the church. Students that have class inside the church must be picked up at their station
inside the church.
Do not make arrangements with your children to meet them in the parking lot. Thank you.

(Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults)
Ongoing Registration for the upcoming RCIA program
The program is for:
•
Baptized Catholics needing Holy Communion or Confirmation.
•
Baptized non-Catholic Christians interested in becoming Catholic.
•
Anyone without a denomination interested in becoming Catholic.
•
Catholics who feel that they need a “refresher”.
This program addresses questions such as:
•
I do not have the knowledge to teach my children about the Catholic faith when they ask me questions.
•
I am planning to marry, but I do not have all my sacraments yet.
•
I am interested in becoming Catholic, but I have procrastinated

de dejar de beber. No hay cuotas ni honorarios para ser
miembro de AA; nos mantenemos con nuestras propias

organización o institución; no desea intervenir en
controversias, no respalda ni se opone a ninguna causa.
Nuestro objetivo primordial es mantenernos sobrios y ayudar

Be a missionary from your parish. MMH works with the people
of Villa El Salvador, a poor town on the outskirts of Lima. This
sale helps provide funds for scholarships for college students,
school supplies, medicines and medical treatment, therapy
for special needs children, occupational program for the
elderly & collaboration with orphanages.
