Young People Activity Programme October—December 2015 Welcome to the Autumn Activity Programme! If you are a Young Person aged 12-18 with learning disabilities/additional needs, check out the wide range of social activities on offer. We have an exciting Autumn in store, with regular club nights, an overnight break at an Equestrian centre plus lots of fun and day trips including Archery, Ghost bus rides & much more. We support young people to get out and about in the community, make friends build new skills, try new activities and have fun. We offer a full range of evenings, weekends and after school activities throughout the year based in Basildon, Braintree, Chelmsford, Colchester and Tendring whilst day trips during school holidays are wider spread. The Young People are always happy to welcome new InterActors to the groups! Not ready for Group Activities? – Ask us about our fantastic programme which links young people with learning disabilities and special needs with peers and volunteers - guided by a ‘Circles`s co-ordinator. Young peers provide volunteer support, friendship, mentoring, inclusion, skills development, confidence building and of course, lots of FUN! Are you registered with InterAct? We ask parents/carers to complete and return a signed registration form to us before their son, daughter or the young person in their care can take part in their first InterAct activity. Please download a registration form from our website or give us a call. If you’re feeling a bit shy or unsure if InterAct is for you ask about Taster Days with one of the team. When you’re all bounced out we’ll head off for food, fun and games. 9.30 — & 5pm (Please see minibus pick ups) TBC 30 Oct * 27th Oct Priority given to young people living in South Essex & Mid Essex The London Ghost Bus Tour - is a theatrical sightseeing tour, showing you the darker side of London while providing a piece of comedy horror theatre on board a classic 1960s Routemaster bus.
