at the Music Score
We’d like to congratulate our first Student of the Month: Jeremy Cooney. Jeremy has been a Student of
Sinan Bakir for over three years. Read more about Jeremy in our Student of the Month section.
We’d also like to welcome Cameron Sutphin to our Final Friday Open Mic series this past March and
welcome back Don Petruzzi and Nate Day back for another awesome performance this month (see our
Final Friday section for more details).
Also our New Rock School will be having sign-ups soon, please inquire at the front desk or call the

Music Lessons FAQ
Q: What age do you have to be to take lessons?
A: Generally speaking 5 and up. If you can count and
know the alphabet you can begin lessons. Adults are
encouraged to sign up as well. It’s never too late to
learn!
Q: Will I need my own instrument?
A: Yes, the key to learning an instrument is practice so
you will at least need an instrument at home for that
purpose. We will be happy to set you up with an
instrument that is right for you.
Q: Do I have to wait until next school year to begin?
A: No, you may sign up at any time. We also give
lessons during the summer.

over 3 years ago. Sinan
explained that Jeremy is
progressing well and is becoming
a promising guitarist with good
technique and soloing skills.
Jeremy also plays in bands,
including The Boss, as well as
writing and performing solo. You
can catch Jeremy opening for
Don and Nate at this month’s
Final Friday Open Mic, Apr 26th.
