accommodation available
We are seeking registrations of interest for accommodation available at our new South site in Mahia
Road from September. We have 10 self-contained, secure one bedroom apartments with own
shower/toilet & kitchenette (No appliances supplied). Undercover parking, set within secure, gated,
pleasant grounds. Approx. cost $250-275 pw includes power and water. Apartments will have one
year renewable leases. Strictly no pets allowed. If interested please contact Alison 951 2307 for a
pre-occupancy application form.
Spotlight on Family
what dads can do
A common complaint from dads who are busy working long hours is that they feel out of touch with
their family, and its routines and moods. Even if you can’t offer your children as much of your time
as you’d like, you can always make the time you do have count. Whenever you can, organise a
fun family activity, and let the kids know you are driving it. It doesn’t have to be expensive, in fact a
bit of silly and creative fun is usually the kind kids love most. Plan a neighbourhood treasure hunt,
or a mini sports tournament at the park. With only a couple of hours, some imagination, and the
determination to connect with your kids, ‘Dad’ memories to last a lifetime can be made.

christmas in a box fundraiser
On 4th August a Life Group are again cooking their delicious Lamb Curry with
Rice & side - $7.00. These boxes are suitable for freezing, as office lunches or
a treat to friends and neighbours. For catering and planning purposes, we need
pre-orders asap, though there may be some boxes for walk-in sale on Sunday.
