† CLC Worship Leader Search Committee
The Worship Leader Search Committee is currently receiving resumes from candidates interested in the Worship Leader position for the CLC worship services.
This individual must demonstrate strong vocal skill; competency on guitar, piano,
or secondary instrument is a plus. This individual should possess the spiritual
sensitivity necessary to engage worshippers, and must be able to recruit, equip,
and encourage the volunteer musicians who participate weekly. The position is
part time and has some flexibility in regard to schedule. Sunday mornings and
Wednesday evenings would be required. Candidates interested in receiving a detailed job description or to apply for the position should contact the church office.
† Leaders Needed for Children’s Classes
We have 25 two-year-olds in our rising fall class, but we would like to split the class
if we can recruit three additional people who will alternate months at the 9 a.m.
class. People willing to make sure the next generation of kids learn about Jesus are
encouraged to pray and call Carolyn (977-5701 x 233) for volunteer information.
† Attention: College Students & Parents
If your college student wishes to receive the monthly newsletter and care package from our Campus Connection team, please contact the church office with
the college address of your student.
† Professional Graphic Designer Needed
The women’s ministry team is in search of a professional graphic designer willing
to donate some time for a small design project. Contact Suni Heflin (540-815-5425
or [email protected]).
† Senior Adult Trip, October 12–14

† Minister of Music Transition Team
A Transition Team has been formed to help lead the search for our next Minister
of Music. This group is assisting the Personnel Committee to update the job description, seek qualified applicants, and conduct interviews with the ultimate goal
of identifying the right individual for this vital position. Our goals are consistent
with those of the Pastor and ministerial staff in that we value both traditional and
contemporary worship styles and do not intend to change direction from what
has benefitted Bonsack so well for many years. We seek your input as to what
qualities and attributes you want to see in the Minister of Music and also please
let us know if you’re aware of a successfully functioning minister who you want
to bring to our attention. Subcommittee members: Susan Smith, Lee Jones, Sallie
VanLear, Ed Griffin, Josh Hickman, Charlotte Creasy, Nancy Parr, and Rudy Bush.
† Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) Offered Here at Bonsack!
BSF will offer a study on the book of John beginning September 14 at 9:30 a.m.
This in-depth study is offered free of charge to equip people to effectively serve
in their churches and communities. Your life will be blessed as you seek a closer
relationship with God through this amazing Bible study. A preschool program is
also available. Go to bsfinternational.org or call 330-3754 for more information.
