2013 - Children`s Hospital of Wisconsin
Nothing matters more than our children. At Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, we believe that kids deserve the best. Our belief drives everything we do. It defines our vision for the future and our mission for today. Originally founded by seven women who recognized the tremendous need for pediatric care in the community, Children’s continues to rely on community support now more than ever. And the community has responded! In 2013, we had a record-setting year, raising approximately $46 million to support our care, advocacy, research and education efforts, providing the very best for kids and families. s f U t D er G w ce m mo Fa 24ice me at Six H one said the Allia “W send ence be b work will togeth at the to the emoti being lence a In a vided Peace ernmen housed Childre the Below are just a few of the milestones reached and recognition earned through your generous support: In partnership with Marquette University College of Nursing, we opened central city clinics at the COA Goldin Center and Northside YMCA to provide medical homes for impoverished children and their adult caregivers. 12 • Milwaukee Count y Post • October 10, 2014 ‘We are creating a new Sojourner Fami ly Peace Center breaks ground on new facility By RICH ROV ITO Special to The Post way of serving fam ilies’ Department, Milw aukee County District Attor ney’s Office, MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Publi traveled from San Casey Gwinn ban law enfor c Schools, suburcement representa Diego to attend the formal grou tives and community ndbreaking cere-based partmony for the ners.
