2013 - Children`s Hospital of Wisconsin
Nothing matters more than our children.
At Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin,
we believe that kids deserve the best.
Our belief drives everything we do.
It defines our vision for the future
and our mission for today.
Originally founded by seven women who recognized the
tremendous need for pediatric care in the community,
Children’s continues to rely on community support now more than ever.
And the community has responded!
In 2013, we had a record-setting year, raising approximately $46 million
to support our care, advocacy, research and education efforts,
providing the very best for kids and families.

Below are just a few of the milestones reached and
recognition earned through your generous support:
In partnership with Marquette University College of Nursing, we opened
central city clinics at the COA Goldin Center and Northside YMCA to
provide medical homes for impoverished children and their adult caregivers.

Children’s Hospital continually sets new standards of excellence in
pediatric health care, reshaping the future landscape of pediatric

Endowed Chairs
Generous donors make endowed chairs, an esteemed honor,
possible. Endowed chairs have a far-reaching impact on our
families by fostering innovation, scholarship and research.
They help Children’s attract the brightest minds in pediatric
medicine and are imperative to providing the best care for
kids. Established with a minimum gift of $1.5 million, endowed
chairs provide a perpetual source of funding from investment
earnings, while maintaining the principal.
