Jules Pansu
And its Manufacture ‘Les Tissages de la Lys’
C
reated in 1878 by Mr Jules Pansu, these two SMEs,
«JULES PANSU SA» - Paris, and «LES TISSAGES
DE LA LYS» (TDL) - Halluin (59), are specialized in creating,
producing and selling some very sophisticated Tapestries
and Jacquard fabrics.
Tapestry is part of the French heritage, and Jules PANSU
company is well known for its high quality and its real
know-how, assumed by some «Meilleurs Ouvriers de
France» (Best Craftmen in France), to be a true link
between tradition and innovation.

Today, 130 years later, the company is still managed by the
successors of its founder: the Fourth generation of Pansu
family members.
JULES PANSU SA (JP) still sells some Tapestries but also
has a range of finished and manufactured products such
as Home accessories (cushions, throws, table-runners .....),
Handbags and Rugs. All are made with Les Tissages de la
Lys Jacquard fabrics which are created and produced in the
mill at Halluin.

atry celebrated its one hundred years in business
in early 2012. Its know-how in making up-market
Wilton weave broadloom carpets and rugs has spread
and today is widely recognized.
Highly skilled professionals, employing refined techniques
that demonstrate an artistic aesthetic, create projects to be
woven at a factory in Roncq, near Lille (northern France).
These creations are intended for refined custom interior
design installations.

W
inckelmans have been manufacturing top
quality quarry tiles for over 100 years.
The company was founded in 1894 by Théophile
Winckelmans, the current Managing Director is 5th
generation Winckelmans.
