We are looking forward to a really significant time in our service this morning as we conclude
the Self Denial Appeal for 2016. We feel blessed and thankful to be able to present our
financial gifts to God so that He may take them and use them in a very real and tangible way
through the work of the Salvos in developing countries. We will be welcoming the children back
in to the main auditorium for this time as they have also been collecting money to contribute.
As we conclude the "Enlarge" sermon series today, Tim Clark will be speaking about "Enlarging Your Praise" and we
look forward to all he has to bring us from God’s word this morning. We encourage you to keep on utilising your
journals and listening out for all God wants to say to us as we move forward in our Enlarge journey this year.
Looking ahead to next week we are anticipating a truly amazing, grace-filled time as we join together for the Easter
weekend. See inside this newsletter for a dedicated Easter weekend flyer that outlines all planned services. Please
note, today is the last day to RSVP and pay for dinner on Thursday night.
In closing, how awesome does the new carpet look?! Thank you to all who helped logistically through this week as
literally everything in the church was moved and put back!

Self Denial Altar Service
The Self Denial Altar Service is a significant time for our
church where we present our financial gifts to God to
go to the work of the Salvos in developing countries.
Today we will invite you to present your financial gifts
at the conclusion of the service. The children will also
come back in to church to bring their money boxes or
envelopes. Additional envelopes are available under the
notice board, should you wish to use these.
designing women conference 2016
Saturday 6 August. Ladies, don't forget to register for
the Designing Women Conference at reception after
church. March 31 is the last date to do this. See details

Colour 2017
Registrations are now open for Hillsong Colour Conference 2017 which is being held in March at ICC, Darling
Harbour. If you are going to attend and would like to
stay with the NBC group of women, Jennie Brown has
booked some accommodation for NBC women to stay
together. Accommodation is near Darling Harbour (a
20min walk or 3 tram stops) where the Conference is
being held and will cost approximately $100 per night,
shared accommodation. For those who have stayed before it is the same accommodation as in the past. If you
are interested please let Jennie Brown know by phone

28 March - 2 April. Gents Camp is a Scripture Union
based camp run during the Easter holidays. There will be
a number of people from our church and local community attending. It is an awesome week where young
men can have fun, learn more about God, participate in
awesome tribal wars and be influenced by great male
role models. Please pray for the young men and leaders
heading away on this camp.

Give them opportunities to ask questions. If you don’t know the answers,
tell them you don’t know but then try
and find out and get back to them.
Salvage returns Friday 22/04/16, but there are plenty
of things happening for our Youth up until then. Such as
Riverfest (15/04-17/04) and our holiday hangs. Keep
checking the Facebook and Instagram, or speak to a
leader for more details.

Junior Soldiers meets before our
Sunday service at 8:30am. Term 2
dates are: April 17, May 1, May 15,
June 5, June 19.
The next Young Adults event is on 27 March, after the
meeting. Come along as we discuss ways to go deeper
in our faith and with our community. Join us for lunch,
fellowship and discussion. #bebothered #justonemore
riverfest (youth councils)
Riverfest (Youth Councils) is
coming up April 15-17. It's an
incredible weekend away for our
youth and young adults. Cost is
approx $60 to camp, including
meals. More details to come. See a youth leader to find
out how you can help or if you want more info.
