Good morning and welcome to North Brisbane Salvos. Great to have you join with us for
worship. If you're here for the first time (or it's been a while), we have launched a new
yearly theme called "ENLARGE" based on Isaiah 54:2-3a where God says to "enlarge the
place of your tent". We believe that 2016 is a time of growth and enlargement for our
church spiritually and numerically. Today Shelden is continuing in our series and speaking on
"Enlarging Our Capacity".
The church is having a bit of a "facelift" with painting, concrete stencilling, some tiling and a few other minor amendments before new carpet is installed in March, so thanks for bearing with us.

40 days of prayer and fasting
Over the period of Lent, the Salvos in Queensland is
engaging in "40 Days of Prayer and Fasting". On each
day a different Salvation Army church or expression will
be actively praying. Our church's day is on Sunday 28
February. There are print outs under the noticeboard if
you would like to participate.

The Church Office will be placing an order for name
badges, for anyone at our church who would like to have
one. The cost is $14.50. Could you please place your
order with the office no later than Sunday 28 February. Use the order form in the office today or office@

world day of prayer - cuba
There is a World Day of Prayer being held at St Margaret's Anglican Church, Sandgate at 10am on Friday 4
March. Everyone is welcome.

If you haven't yet picked up a journal for 2016, these are
still available. Your consideration of a donation of $10
towards the printing of these would be appreciated.
Self Denial Appeal 2016
Today we are into Week 2 of our annual Self Denial
Appeal, where we are raising funds for the work of The
Salvation Army in developing countries. Today in church
we'll be looking at Jamaica. Our church's goal is to
raise $50,020.16 and our Altar Service Sunday is on 20
March. Check your family file for more infos.

Today after the meeting we will have our Young Adult vision session. Come and discuss what ENLARGE means for
our young adult community. For anyone finished Grade 12.

riverfest (youth councils)
Riverfest (Youth Councils) is
coming up April 15-17. It's an
incredible weekend away for our
youth and young adults. Cost is
approx $60 to camp, including
meals. More details to come. See a youth leader to find
out how you can help or if you want more info.
bunnings BBQ fundraiser
We are holding a Bunnings BBQ as a fundraiser for our
Youth and Children's ministries on March 19 and we need
your help. For those wanting to attend EQUIP this year,
please sign up to help lower your cost. There's a sign up
