followed by a free screening of the motion picture CHI C AGO Thursday, March 3, 2016 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm Harris Center for the Arts benefitting the presented by seasoning your life Over the years Kikkoman Foods Foundation, Inc. has supported the Folsom Lake College Foundation including the college and The Harris Center for the Arts. We congratulate the Harris Center for the Arts on their 5th Anniversary! Welcome to RAZZLE DAZZLE, the Harris Center for the Arts’ fifth year anniversary celebration! It seems like yesterday that the Harris Center opened its doors to welcome live theater to Folsom and the greater Sacramento region. The Center has brought the best of local and international music, art and dance to our exquisite and unique venue. As we celebrate surpassing three quarter million attendees in five years, tonight’s 1920s-themed event features gourmet food and wine tasting by El Dorado County wineries, local restaurants and a silent auction, followed by a free screening of the motion picture Chicago. This is truly a tribute to this hometown beacon of the arts. In the past five years, the Center has welcomed artists from more than 50 countries, been dazzled by two dozen touring Broadway shows, and been mesmerized by some of today’s top entertainers. Community artists and arts organizations have found a place to call their own, as have Folsom Lake College’s arts programs. Thousands of young people have had their chance to work, perform, or exhibit in this world-class venue, and countless more have experienced the joy of attending a live performance, many for the first time. While we can look back at the last five years of success, our laser focus is on the next five—which is a bit harder to predict. As is the case for most performing arts centers, ticket sales support only a portion of the costs of providing vibrant programs. Gifts from people like you make the difference. These gifts are key to the Harris Center realizing its full potential, and touching the lives of as many in our community as possible. The Folsom Lake College Foundation continues the earnest work of fundraising to secure revenues that will help close these funding gaps. Please join us in showing your support for the Harris Center for the Arts. Feel free to contact any of the Foundation Board members listed in your program, in your quest to make an impact for our future. Net proceeds from tonight’s event go directly to benefit the Center. If we’ve earned your support, it’s easy to demonstrate through an additional donation at www.HarrisCenter.net. Opportunities range from one-time gifts to planned giving. All contributions promote the legacy of improving people’s lives through live performances.
