ANNOUNCING UNRESTRICTED: THE ARTADIA 2016 BENEFIT AUCTION
New York, NY - Artadia will host a Benefit to raise funds for its unrestricted, merit-based Awards Programs.
Artadia is a national nonprofit organization that supports visual artists with unrestricted, curator-driven
Awards and a lifetime of professional opportunities. Since 1999, Artadia has provided over $3 million to
more than 300 artists in participating cities of Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York,
and San Francisco.
The Benefit will take place on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 6:30 - 9:30 pm at the East Village studio
of Izhar Patkin. Formerly a vocational school, the unique location now houses Patkin’s impressive studio,
gardens, and beautiful event space.
The event will begin with cocktails sponsored by Casa Dragones and will include a bountiful Mediterranean
buffet provided by Dishful Catering. Artadia has partnered with Paddle8 for the live and silent auction, with
Sotheby’s auctioneer Gabriela Palmieri. Music will be provided by Matthew Higgs.
Individual tickets are $250 and a pair of tickets is $450. There is also the opportunity to sponsor an artist’s attendance for $250. To purchase tickets, visit the event website: artadia.org/unrestricted/. You may
