This survey report was prepared concerning the below fairs held by ReedTüyap Fuarcılık
A.Ş. between April 4 - 7, 2013 at the TÜYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center Büyükçekmece / Istanbul with the permission of the Union of Chambers and Commodity
Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB):

1.1. PURPOSE OF SURVEY
The purpose of this survey is to determine the visitor profile and general fair evaluations
of the visitors from the questionnaires completed with the domestic and foreign visitors
during the fair as well as the information forms obtained from the visitors at the fair
entrance; to provide the analysis results and news summaries about the fair to the
companies participating in the fair; and to utilize the data obtained in the improvement
and development of future fairs.
1.2. METHOD AND SAMPLE STRUCTURE OF SURVEY
This survey was conducted through a face-to-face questionnaire at different points in the
fairground with randomly selected fair visitors who were distributed evenly as per days
and hours. It was also conducted by evaluation of the information forms which were
obtained from visitors upon their entrance to the fair, as well as analysis of professional
visitor entry records and information on the invitations.

2. GENERAL FAIR INFORMATION
2.1. FAIR OPENING AND SECTORAL COOPERATION
The below fairs organized with the cooperation of the Federation of Medical Device
Manufacturers and Suppliers Associations (TÜMDEF) and its member organizations
(Marmara Healthcare Sector Businessmen Association (MASSİAD) - Medical Device
Manufacturers Association (TÜDER) - Çukurova Association of Medical Industrialists
(ÇUMED) - Central Anatolia Medical Industrialist Association (İMDER) - Aegean
Medical Devices Association (E.T.M.D) - Denizli Medical Devices Association - Eastern
Black Sea Medical Devices Association - East Anatolia Medical Devices Association
(DOMED) - Gaziantep Healthcare Sector Businessmen Association, Health Industry
Employers Association of Turkey (SEĠS) and Health Care Products Manufacturers and
Representatives Association (SADER), namely:
- EXPOMED 2013 20th International Istanbul Medical Analysis, Diagnosis, Treatment,
Protection, Rehabilitation Product, Device, System, Technology, Equipment and
Hospitals Fair
- LABTECH 2013 16th International Istanbul Laboratory Technology, System and

Ministry of Health and sector professionals, participating companies, members of the
press and guests.

As a result of the evaluation of the information forms obtained from the visitors at the
entrance of EXPOMED 2013 20th International Istanbul Medical Analysis, Diagnosis,
