2015 at the beautiful Fleur de Lis Farms in Argyle, Texas. The Fleur de Lis
Classic will feature a $35,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby and a $15,000
USHJA National Hunter Derby held on our “one of a kind” grass derby field. You
will have the opportunity to ride one of the exceptional courses designed by
premier course designer, Tucker Williams.

If Jumpers are your preference, the $15,000 1.20 Meter Open Speed Derby will
give you the opportunity to experience the thrill of riding our unique derby field
over a course designed by the renowned Canadian Course Designer, Peter Holmes.
Mr. Holmes will also be designing the courses for the $50,000 Fleur de Lis
Grand Prix, $15,000 High Junior/Amateur Owner Jumper Classic, and the
$10,000 Low Junior/Amateur Owner Jumper Classic. These classes will be held
in the 300’ x 190’ outdoor ring, which provides the ultimate footing.
In addition to six classes that promise the excitement of watching upper level
riders and horses competing for purses and prizes totaling more than $140,000,
you will have the option to view as the general public or purchase a table in the
sponsor’s tent. The sponsor’s tent will offer premiere seating for all events and
provide you with the finest food and spirits to make the Fleur de Lis Classic an
even more memorable occasion.

horse/rider cross entry between National and International Derby.

GENERALRULESAND INFORMATION
This show is a regular member of the United States Equestrian Federation. Every class offered herein is
covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rule book and will be conducted and judged
in accordance therewith.
USEF MEMBERSHIP STATEMENT: Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to
participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Preliminary Level or
above and Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting
Competitions and Endurance Rides. A nonmember may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner,
lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions,
Reining Competitions and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a $30 Show Pass fee.
Participants in the following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2)
exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot and academy classes
(academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF
introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions.
8) Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership
in good standing of their own National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant
handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes.
ENTRIES: Entries close April 15, 2015. New entries (new or different horses) made after these dates will
incur a one time late fee of $35.00. Every Entry Blank must have the signature of the owner/authorized
agent, trainer & be accompanied by a stall check or open check. It is the responsibility of the person
making the entry to execute properly and complete all necessary information pertaining to each entry
made in accordance with USEF rales. NO NUMBERS WILL BE ISSUED WITHOUT AN OPEN CHECK.
PLEASE MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO FLEUR DE LIS FARM. CURRENT COGGINS MUST BE
PRESENTED TO THE HORSE SHOW OFFICE. There will be a $35.00 office/services fee for every horse
on the show grounds that will cover ring schooling, scratches, and adds. Management reserves the
right to refuse any entry for any reason. *Attention foreign exhibitors: All fees MUST be paid in “US
Funds”.
STALLS: Temporary 10 X 10 stalls of metal/canvas construction will be available Friday, May 8. Cost
per stall is $195. Stalls will be secured by check only. Limited stabling, stalls will be distributed on a first
come, first serve basis only. Feed and Shavings will be ordered only through D & L Farm and Home,
Denton, 940-891-0100. Shavings available on the show grounds at $10 per bag and may be ordered in
advance. Please contact John McQueen at (318) 348-8233 or Kelly Cyphert at 940-367-3381. Manure is
to be disposed of in designated areas only. NO MANURE IN TRASH CONTAINERS. No stall doors or
panels may be removed.
COGGINS TEST: Texas law requires that each horse be accompanied by a negative EIA certificate dated
within one year. PLEASE ATTACH A COPY OF YOUR HORSES’ COGGINS TO YOUR ENTRY.
REFUNDS: STALL FEES CANNOT BE REFUNDED AFTER APRIL 15. Entry fees will not be refunded
after April 15 unless a certificate of illness or injury prepared by an accredited veterinarian, or a doctor’s
note regarding rider illness/injury, is presented to the secretary before the start of the show. Once the
show has started, proper notification of the scratch must be made in the office BEFORE the start of the
classes being scratched. In either case the entry fees will be refunded less any nominating fees, stall fee,
and an office processing charge of $35.00.
NON-NEGOTIABLE CHECKS: A $50.00 SERVICE FEE OR 10% OF THE CHECK AMOUNT,
WHICHEVER IS GREATER, WILL BE CHARGED FOR ALL RETURNED CHECKS. Accounts that are
not settled within five days with certified funds will be reported to the USEF in accordance with current
USEF rules.
SETTLEMENT OF ACCOUNTS: All show accounts must be closed out by the end of the day, Sunday,
May 10. Any open entry accounts will be closed by management and a $30 processing fee will be added
per entry. Any mistakes or questions regarding your horse show account and/or prize money must be
resolved within 24 hours by contacting the Horse Show Office.
CREDENTIALS: ALL EXHIBITORS IN ANY PONY, JUNIOR HUNTER OR AMATEUR SECTION MUST
PRESENT THEIR CREDENTIALS (MEASUREMENT CARD OR AMATEUR CERTIFICATION) TO
THE SHOW OFFICE BEFORE THEIR NUMBERS CAN BE RELEASED. Kindly send a photo copy of

credentials with entry to facilitate processing. All horses or ponies without a valid measurement card will
be measured at a designated time and place. Anyone not presenting valid membership credentials
(USEF/USHJA) will be charged a $30.00 non-refundable non-member fee per organization. Amateur
exhibitors not able to present valid Amateur Credentials will be required to pay the $30.00 annual
Amateur Card fee.
RINGS/FOOTING: Jumper ring is 300' X 190'. Jumper warm up ring is 150' X 120'. Footing is sand/fiber
mix. Grass field is 500' X 300'.
HORSE REGISTRATIONS: All horses competing in Federation non-breed restricted licensed
competitions with hunter, hunter breeding, jumper and hunter seat equitation classes (except those
activities enumerated in GR901.9, items 1-9) must be properly identified and must obtain a Registration
Number from USHJA. A registration number for each horse must be entered on all entry forms for
licensed competitions. Proof of registration must be presented to the Show Secretary before numbers
can be released. To be eligible for National, Regional or Zone Horse of the Year Awards, to enter a USEF
Computer Ranking List Class, and to enter a USHJA International Hunter Derby horses must also be
registered with the USEF. Exception for USEF Computer Ranking List: Citizens of other nations who
have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation need
not have USEF Registration.
COURSES: Courses will be posted a minimum of one hour prior to each class.
USEF/USHJA FEES: Current USEF rules relating to drugs and medications will be enforced. Each horse
entered must pay the $8.00 USEF Drug/Medication Fee plus an $8.00 USEF fee. (Total $16.00 USEF Fee).
Each horse entered will also be required to pay the USHJA Zone Support fee of $2.00.
SCHOOLING: Appropriate areas for schooling will be available on Friday, May 8. Warm up areas, only,
will be available on Saturday and Sunday. Jumping will be permitted only when medical personnel are
on the grounds. HARD HATS MUST BE WORN WHILE MOUNTED.
Hacking only on the field, weather permitting. $50 ticketed schooling in the ring only on Friday morning.
ANIMAL WELFARE: We require that all horses be treated with kindness, respect and compassion and
should never be subject to mistreatment. Owners, trainers, riders and grooms, or their agents must use
reasonable care in the handling and treatment of their horses whether owned or placed in their care for
competition or for any other purpose. At all times, while the horse is on the show grounds, we will
provide for the continuous well-being of the horse by vigorously enforcing the rules of the USEF which
pertain to the welfare of the horse. USEF rales defining policy regarding abuse and use of whips will be
strictly enforced. No poling, use of bamboo off-set or excessive use of the whip will be tolerated. The
well being of the horse must be considered above the demands of the breeders, trainers, riders, owners,
dealers, organizers, sponsors or officials. Violators may be subject to penalties pursuant to USEF rules.
In the event of an acute and serious injury to or illness of a horse on competition grounds when the
owner or trainer of the horse or agent of the owner is not present, after reasonable effort to contact that
individual has been made, competition management, in consultation with a licensed equine veterinarian,
may authorize the provision of emergency veterinary treatment of the horse. If competition management
so authorizes treatment under the provisions of this rule, competition management and veterinarian
are not liable for any resulting costs, damages, losses, claims or actions arising directly or indirectly
from the treatment of the horse.
DOGS: Dogs are not permitted to be loose on competition grounds and must be on a leash or otherwise
contained. Individuals must not lead dogs on a leash while mounted. Dog owners are solely responsible
for any damages, claims, losses or actions result ing from their dogs’ behaviors. Dog owners failing to
comply with this rule may be subject to penalty under Chapters 6 and 7, as well as issuance of warning
cards.
CHANGES: Management reserves the right to change, cancel, or combine classes, alter courses and do
all things necessary to compensate for excessive or inadequate entries.
ATTIRE: Formal attire for all classes. Numbers must be worn and clearly visible.
MANDATORY HELMET RULE: It is compulsory for all persons at Federation licensed hunter/jumper
competitions, when mounted anywhere on the competition grounds, to wear properly fastened protective
headgear which meets or exceeds ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) SEI (Safety
Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries SEI tag. It must be properly fitted with
harness secured.
JUMP ORDER: The order of go for classes will be determined using a random draw. No changes in the
order will be allowed without the express consent of the Steward and Show Manager. Post entries will be
placed at the top of the order.
RIBBONS/TROPHIES: All classes will receive a trophy and twelve ribbons.
PRIZES: Prize money is indicated for each class. Prize money won can be paid by check or deducted
from each horses account. An IRS W-9 form must be completed in foil before any prize money can be
paid. Prize money will be withheld if the Social Security number is not on file. Prize money will be payable
to the owner unless written authorization is on file with the show secretary. All prize money will be paid
within 30 days of the shows’ conclusion.
CAMPERS: No on site camper parking is available. Please refer to the list (contained herein) of area
campgrounds for accommodation.
PARKING: PARKING FOR ALL VEHICLES AND TRAILERS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN DESIGNATED
AREAS ONLY. Any vehicle parked outside of the designated areas, except for the purpose of loading
and unloading, will be towed at the owner’s expense.
PHOTOGRAPHYAND VIDEO: From time to time, events at this facility are taped or produced for live
and/or delayed broadcast on National Television. The copyrights of any video production at Fleur de Lis
Farm remain the property of Fleur de Lis Farm. No portion of any event may be copied, sold or rebroadcast
(except non-economic use by the event participants) without the express written consent of Fleur de Lis
Farms, Argyle, TX. All copyrights are reserved under the Federal Copyright Laws of The United
States.
PHOTO RELEASE: I agree to waive the right to the use of my photos/videos at the competition and
grant Fleur de Lis Farms and/or Queenie Productions, LLC and its agent’s full use of any and all
competition photos and video.
OPERATION OF MOTORIZED VEHICLES: Minors who do not have a valid driver’s license which
allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to
operate a motorized vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters,
or farm utility vehicles, on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid
temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied
by an adult with a valid driver’s license. The parent(s), legal guardian(s), or individual who signs the
entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are
solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of
this rule will be cause for sanctions against the parent(s), guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) who are responsible
for the child committing the offense. Penalties may include exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s),
and/or trainer(s) from the competition grounds for the remainder of the competition and charges being
filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with Chapter 6. Wheelchairs and other mobility
assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule.
RESPONSIBILITY: Submission of entry to this show constitutes an agreement to the following: Exhibitor
agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Fleur de Lis Farms, The Trimble Family Foundation, Queenie
Productions, LLC and The Fleur de Lis Classic Horse Show officials against any claims, demands, costs
and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees for the defense thereof, arising from the conduct or
management of Exhibitor’s business or its use of the premises or from any breach on the part of the
Exhibitor of any conditions of this Agreement, or contractors, agents, employees, guests or invitees in
or about the premises, hi case of any action or proceeding brought against Fleur de Lis Farms, The
Trimble Family Foundation, Queenie Productions, LLC and/or The Fleur de Lis Classic Horse Show
management by reason of such claim Exhibitor, upon notice, covenants to defend such action or
proceeding by council acceptable to owner. Exhibitor is responsible for his/her own property and Fleur
de Lis Farms, The Trimble Family Foundation, Queenie Productions, LLC, and/or The Fleur de Lis
Classic Horse Show Management are not responsible for accidents, fire or theft.
JUMPERS: Ties in jumper classes will jump off for first place only. Ties for all other places will be
determined by first round time.

Any person, including an equine activity sponsor, equine professional, livestock show participant, or
livestock show sponsor, is not liable for property damage or damages arising from the personal injury
or death of a participant in an equine activity or livestock show if the property damage, injury, or death
results from the dangers or conditions that are an inherent risk of an equine activity or the showing of
an animal on a competitive basis in a livestock show.

From the Southwest (Fort Worth): Take I 35 W north to the FM 407 Exit. Turn right (east). At FM 377 turn
right (south). Go approximately 1 mile to Frenchtown Road and turn left. Go approximately 1 mile to Jeter
Road and turn right. Follow Jeter Road to Fleur de Lis Farm.
From the Northwest (Oklahoma City) Take I 35 south towards Denton. At the I 35 “split” take I 35 W
south to the FM 407 Exit. Turn right (east). At FM 377 turn right (south). Go approximately 1 mile to
Frenchtown Road and turn left. Go approximately 1 mile to Jeter Road and turn right. Follow Jeter Road
to Fleur de Lis Farm.
From the Southeast (Dallas/Lewisville): Take I 35 North to the FM 407 exit. Follow the signs to FM 407,
turning left at the overpass (which will take you over I 35 and on to FM 407 westbound). Continue west
on FM 407 for approximately 10 miles. After you have passed the Lantana Development entrance on the
right go about another % miles to the Jeter Road turn off on the left. Follow Jeter Road approximately 3
miles to Fleur de Lis Farm.
From the Northeast (Denton): Take I 35 South to the FM 407 exit. Follow the signs to FM 407, turning
right to access FM 407 westbound. Continue west on FM 407 for approximately 10 miles. After you have
passed the Lantana Development entrance on the right go about another 3/4 miles to the Jeter Road turn
off on the left. Follow Jeter Road approximately 3 miles to Fleur de Lis Farm.

LOW CHILDREN’S JUMPER
Eligibility: To be ridden by exhibitors who have not reached their 18th birthday by December 1 of the current
competition year. Open to horses and ponies.
Cross Entry: Competition Management may restrict cross entries between High and Low sections at the same
competition if stated in the prize list. Cross entry into any class at 1.20m (3’11”) and above is not permitted for the
same horse/rider combination at the same competition. Horse/rider combinations may cross enter into the High
Children’s Jumpers at the same competition. Horse/rider combinations may enter only one classic, if both Low and
High are offered.
Combining/Dividing Sections: A combined Adult Amateur/Children’s Jumper section may be offered, and if entries
warrant, may thereafter be split into separate sections. If only one section is offered, the classes will be conducted
at 1.10m for all classes offered in the section.
Height of Fences: 1.0m (3’3”) to 1.05m (3’5”).
Judging: Classes to be scored under Table I; Table II, Section 1, Sections 2(a), 2(b), 2(c), or 3; or Table IV (Optimum
Time).
Awards: Zone awards to be given for Low Children’s Jumper section.
