Brinton Lykes, Community-­‐cultural psychologist, Lynch School of Educa:on & Interna:onal Jus:ce, Boston College Center for Human Rights and Dohee Lee, Isadora Duncan Special Awardee for Outstanding Achievement Ramsay Liem, Professor Emeritus of Boston College & President, Channing & Popai Liem Educa:on Founda:on Ahn and Lykes joined 28 other women from 15 different countries to cross the DMZ on May 24, 2015, Interna:onal Women’s Day for Peace and Disarmament. This year also marks the 70th anniversary of the separa:on of the two Koreas that set the stage for the world’s longest un-­‐ended war and six decades of family separa:on for millions of Koreans more than 100,000 of whom live in the United States.
