The Breeder’s Choice Gelbvieh Bull Futurity brings out many of the top young purebred Gelbvieh bulls that would not be sold outside these programs unless they win the Futurity. The winning bull is only available for breeding by the futurity members and purchasers of the bull in the National Sale for the next 2 years. Past winners of the Breeder’s Choice bull futurity have gone on to win 3 National Champions and 2 Reserve National Champions the following day and have developed into very unique breeding pieces for the future of the Gelbvieh Breed. Buyer owns possession and 50% semen interest in the Breeder’s Choice Bull Futurity Champion when the bull is sold.
