2015 BREEDER’S CHOICE GELBVIEH BULL FUTURITY CHAMPION
Selling full possession and 50% semen interest
The winner of the 19th Annual Breeder’s Choice Gelbvieh Bull Futurity is a sale attraction every year selling as lot 1 in
the National Gelbvieh and Balancer Sale. The Breeder’s Choice Gelbvieh Bull Futurity brings out many of the top young
purebred Gelbvieh bulls that would not be sold outside these programs unless they win the Futurity. The winning bull is
only available for breeding by the futurity members and purchasers of the bull in the National Sale for the next 2 years.
Past winners of the Breeder’s Choice bull futurity have gone on to win 3 National Champions and 2 Reserve National
Champions the following day and have developed into very unique breeding pieces for the future of the Gelbvieh Breed.
Buyer owns possession and 50% semen interest in the Breeder’s Choice Bull Futurity Champion when the bull is sold.
Insurance is furnished on the bull by the Futurity until all semen collection is complete. Buyer takes possession of the
bull when semen collection for bull futurity members is complete.
Contact futurity managers Chris Mitchell or Randy Sienknecht for purchasing possessions or semen packages to be sold
on the Breeder’s Choice Gelbvieh Bull Futurity Champion as Lot 1 in the National Gelbvieh and Balancer Sale.

VER PRISSY 252G, DAM OF LOT 14
Genomic enhanced EPDs.
Sired by the Ring of Fire bull owned by LeDoux Ranch who has made a huge statement in the Red Angus breed and
out of the famous VER Prissy 252G who has been an extremely productive cow. This heifer is a no miss! She may be
the thickest, deepest, easiest fleshing heifer we have ever produced. Moderate in frame, very sound and athletic with
lots of heart girth, spring of rib and an outstanding profile! She would make a show heifer deluxe or a power type of
cow! She belongs in someone’s donor pen and we will be retaining one flush at buyer’s convenience and our expense.
Details to be worked out with sale management. This one doesn’t come along often. Look her up in Denver, you won’t
be disappointed!

CCRO 7309T , DONOR DAM OF LOT 15
Genomic enhanced EPDs.
55C2 is the result of our planned mating from CCRO 7309T and Adkins Jackpot 906W. The 7309T has been a great foundation for carcass values in our program. We sold a one time only flush from 7309T in the 2014 National Sale and now
we offer this high marbling daughter in the 2016 National Sale. 55C2 is a maternal sister to CCRO Carolina Exclusive
1230Y, the AI carcass sire. She is bred to produce maternal values and carcass values. She ranks in the top 1% for
milk and yield grade, top 2% Ribeye area, top 4% for marbling, top 5% for FPI and the top 10% for yearling weight.
Owning a part of the 7309T cow family is a great foundation for any program wanting to add one of the best carcass
foundations the breed has to offer.
Sells open and ready to breed.

Ms Excitement is an open heifer we selected that is bred
for calving ease, performance and carcass all in one
complete exciting package. She ranks in the top 1% for
calving ease, top 3% for low birthweight, top 5% for FPI
and top 15% for marbling. Sired by the Basin Excitement,
a calving ease/carcass sire that is producing excellent
progeny throughout the beef industry. In the past we chose
to sell pick of our bred heifers in the National Sale. This
year we selected 2 females from our program that we feel
confident will represent what we are doing here at
Thorstenson Gelbvieh with strong cow families, feed
efficiency, high carcass values, calving ease, performance
and longevity. This young female creates much excitement here at Lazy TV Ranch.
Sells open and ready to breed.
