Tickets are $100 each, or 3 for $250. Prizes include a Porsche bicycle, Sugarbush Ski and Stay package, Barbara Harris earrings and round-trip plane tickets from Tradewind Aviation. Tickets can be purchased at the Nantucket Community Sailing Office or during Race Week at Nantucket Yacht Club and Great Harbor Yacht Club. NRW Silent Auction - Bid Now! Find out about upcoming Fun Days in the Upcoming Events Calendar. Nantucket Race Week website. Paddleboard Harbor Tour Join NCS for a Paddleboard Harbor Tour on Friday, August 1st. Weather permitting, we'll paddle over to Children's Beach. The goal of the tour will be to have fun, explore the beauty of Nantucket and get some basic exercise. Remember, the early bird gets the worm: 7am-9am. Sip and Shop Event - Barbara Harris Water Jewels Join us for a Sip and Shop on Monday, July 28th from 5:00 – 7:00pm at Barbara Harris Water Jewels, 14 Centre Street. Jetties Sailing Center Closed for Pops Concert The Jetties Sailing Center will be closed beginning at 12pm on Friday, August 8th for the Boston Pops concert and will reopen at 9am on Sunday, August 10th. Off-Island Regatta Reports - Opti and 420 Race Teams Stonehorse Opti Regatta - From Coaches Cam Chafee and Cat Pelo - On Friday, July 18th, the All-Island Opti Race Team traveled to Harwichport, MA to sail in the Stonehorse Opti Regatta. After practicing at the venue on Thursday afternoon, the team competed on Friday - alongside over 85 other Optis. Congrats to our three sailors: Thibault Antonietti 14/87; Scott Yenor 39/87; and Mac Dilatush 53/87. Falmouth 420 Regatta- From Coach Caroline Patten - The 420 Red/Race team sailed the Falmouth Regatta July 19-20th in Falmouth, MA. Abigail Turner and Indy Sobol paired up; and Olivia Van den born sailed with Henry Desai. Both teams sailed a strong regatta with Abigail and Indy bringing home a trophy for their 5th place finish (5/31)! Olivia and Henry also posted several top 10 scores (17/31). Congrats to all sailors! GHYC Jobson Cup Recap - Great Harbor Yacht Club hosted the annual Jobson Cup Regatta on Wednesday, July 23rd. Green fleet Opti and 420 sailors were invited to participate. NCS sent over 6 Opti sailors and 10 420 sailors for a windy afternoon of racing off Hussey Shoal. Congrats to all of our sailors on a job well done!
