You Can Use
›› What
you need to know about PTO
PTO combines vacation, sick and holiday time into
one bank.
2016 Wellness Incentive
Look out for health screenings
during Spring to Health for a
chance to receive a $200 Visa gift
card.
The fewer sick days you use, the more vacation time
you will have.
Short-Term disability provides income protection
for extended time away from work for illness, injury
or maternity.
Accrual is based on length of service and hours
paid. Time accrues each pay period and will be
reflected in Kronos.
PTO requests will continue to be done in Kronos,
but it will no longer be divided up into categories,
i.e. sick time, birthday, personal, etc.
Staff must use 40 hours of scheduled PTO each year.
Taking time off for yourself is important!
PTO time can be rolled over year to year, up to 300
hours.

›› A big Scribbles welcome to Stacy Miller, our new Human
Resources Manager. Stacy brings more than 25 years of human
resources experience to this role, the last 14 years of which were
spent in healthcare. One of Stacy’s first projects will be reviewing
all of our compensation practices. In addition, she will be your
first point of contact for employee relations issues. Please feel free
to stop by the HR Department and say hello. Welcome to the
family, Stacy! ›› The TSRHC Psychology department recently
published three articles in non-psychology journals. This is significant because it
shows the reach psychology has on general medicine and, more specifically, the role
psychology plays in expert orthopedic care. The journals featuring research by the
TSRHC Psychology department are The Journal of Pediatric Orthopedics, Clinical
Orthopedics and Related Research and Spine. Way to go, Psychology!
