December 20, 2015 Fourth Sunday of Advent Davis & Powell Funeral Home 616 Chestnut St Berea, KY 859-986-3115 Christmas Basket Program As part of our Christmas Basket Program, we are asking all parishioners to bring toys to Mass on the weekend of December 19-20. Your donated toys will be given to needy families who contact St. Clare for assistance during the Christmas Holiday. The toys will be included in the presentation of the gifts at Mass with the assistance of the children of our Parish. PRAY THE ROSARY FOR WORLD PEACE When the human heart is burdened and heavy with guilt, God’s desire is to give us a new heart through the grace of conversion. With the help of the Spirit, we are given the strength to seek and trust God’s merciful forgiveness so that we might have a fresh and new start in our relationship with Him. Amen. Cuarto Domingo de Adviento Las necesidades de los demás Las lecturas y su mensaje Collection of items for Kentucky Refugee Ministries continues through next week end. Please leave donations in the baskets in the narthex. Winter coats and jackets for adults and children, blankets, kitchen items, cleaning products, and personal hygiene products are appreciated. The last Sunday to donate these items will be next Sunday, December 20th. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated. Primera Lectura - Miqueas 5:1-4 A Letter from a Visitor: Segunda Lectura - Hebreos 10:5-10 We were guests at your 9:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, December 6th. We heard your appeal for baskets for the poor for Christmas. We also heard the call for toys. We are sending you a check for $500.00 to be used for those Christmas gifts and baskets. We have been to St. Clare many times when we visit Berea. We admire your community of very friendly people. May God truly reward your Church with a very strong and faith filled community. Merry Christmas and God Bless. Christmas Prayer Nuestra cultura A Root shall come forth from the stock of Jesse And a Flower shall rise out of his root! And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him the spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the spirit of counsel and of fortitude, the spirit of knowledge and of godliness. The people that walked in darkness shall see a great light, For a Child is born to us and a Son is given to us. To Him all power shall be given. His Name shall be: Wonderful One, Strong God, Eternal One, Prince of Peace. He shall sit on the throne of David, And He will found a new Covenant which will last for ever and ever. Amen. ¿He pensado en cómo transmitirlo? † Nuestra Parroquia December 20, 2015 Fourth Sunday of Advent December 20, 2015 Fourth Sunday of Advent Liturgical and Mass Service Sun., December 20 Fourth Sunday of Advent Mi 5: 1-4a / Ps 80: 2-3, 15-16, 18-19/ Heb 10: 5-10 / Lk 1: 39-45 9:00 a.m. Mass - St. Clare 11:00 a.m. Spanish Mass - St. Clare 11:45 a.m. Mass - St. Paul (McKee) Mon., December 21 St. Peter Canisius Sg 2: 8-14 / Ps 33: 2-3, 11-12, 20-21 / Lk 1: 39-45 Mt 21: 23-27 8:00 a.m. Mass - St. Clare Tues., December 22 Advent Weekday 1 Sm 1: 24-28 / (Ps) 1 Sm 2: 1, 4-7, 8abcd/ Lk 1: 46-56 8:00 a.m. Mass - St. Clare 5:00 p.m. Mass - Our Lady of Mt.
