Bike Maine rolls into Kennebunk on Friday!
WHAT IS IT?: BikeMaine
is a fully-supported, seven
day
cycling
tour
held in
midSeptember,
the prime time to cycle in
New England. BikeMaine
is an event offered by the
Bicycle Coalition of Maine,
a nonprofit organization
with more than 5,000 members working to make
Maine better through biking and walking. Cyclists
pedal an average of 55
miles per day along moderately challenging terrain on uncrowded,
safe and quiet roadways, through small
towns rich in local culture.
Kennebunk will be one of the six communities happily hosting Bike Maine cyclists
and volunteers this year.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING? Cyclists
will arrive Friday afternoon, enjoy local
activities, dine at the Waterhouse Center
and enjoy evening entertainment. All in
the community are welcome to partake in
the evening entertainment! Cyclists will

Arundel Historical Society
Heritage Day takes place from 10
a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at North Chapel

(Alfred Road) and Limerick Road, Arundel. It’s an event for the whole family,
celebrating rural history and traditions.
