SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM
Second & Fourth Sunday of the month at 1:15 PM. Parents
are asked to come to the Baptismal Instruction the second
Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Parish Conference
Center located behind the church. Please call the Parish Center to register for the Baptismal Instruction.
We, the Parish family of Nativity of Our Lord, proclaim that by our Baptism we have received the message of Christmas
the great love God has for all people and proclaim that love to all we meet, and so to make present the Kingdom of God
on earth by service to others and by working for justice and peace.
Dear Parishioners,
This weekend we welcome Mr. Danile Lisella a
seminarian from St. Charles Seminary who will speak to
us about St. Charles and the annual Seminary appeal.
Danile is studying for the Diocese of Allentown. I ask
that you all welcome him.
St. Charles Seminary has been training young
men for the priesthood for well over a hundred years.
St. Charles has trained all the priests for our Archdioceses and has trained young men from numerous other
dioceses and religious communities around the country.
All of the priests who have served here at Nativity and
who do serve here in the present are St. Charles Alumni.
St. Charles Seminary is nationally known and
regarded. We are blessed as an Archdiocese to have
such a seminary.
I ask you to please support the seminary appeal.
Please be as generous as your means allow. You should
receive a donation envelope in the mail. It is to be
mailed directly back to the seminary. Also, this year you
can pledge your donation and pay it in installments
through the year. The worthy mission of our seminary
deserves our support and prayers.
I ask also that you pray for all the seminarians
presently studying at St. Charles. Pray that God will
lead and guide them and give them the grace of perseverance. Pray also for an increase in vocations to the
priesthood. We need dedicated and holy priests to minister to the needs of all God’s people. We also need to
encourage the young men in our parish to pray and consider whether God might be calling them to the priesthood.
Please support St. Charles Seminary and it’s
mission with your prayers and financial support.
May Mary, Mother of Priest, intercede for all
our priests and seminarians.
God bless us all!
Fr. Angelo R. Citino
Collection for Typhoon Victims
Parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia
are directed to take up a collection next weekend, November 23rd and 24th, for the benefit of the victims of
the typhoon that hit the Philippine Islands. Please consider being as generous as your circumstances allow.
Thank You.
Our Parish family is asked to pray:
for those who no longer practice their
Catholic faith, may they be given the
Grace to “Come Home”.

208. What is the particular judgment?
It is the judgment of immediate retribution which each

Blessed Mother
through Art
With Sacred Artist Terry
Galvin Anderson
Sunday December 8, 2013
Parish Conference Center
2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
No woman in history has been the subject of artistic
expression more often than Mary, Mother of God.
On this Feast Day of the Immaculate Conception let
us ponder the beauty of the Blessed Mother through
a survey of Marian art. Our presenter, Ms. Anderson, will have her artwork on display which will include images of the Annunciation and Our Lady of
Guadalupe. She will also give a brief demonstration
of her painting process. Additionally, we will enjoy
a slide show of a variety of Marian art.
Terry Galvin Anderson is a sacred artist specializing in Celtic illumination and also writes icons in
the Eastern Tradition. She also is a Commissioned
Lay Ecclesial Minister (CLEM) for the Diocese of
Trenton, and a multi-faith healthcare chaplain for
elders at LIFE St. Francis in Hamilton NJ. She is a
member of St. Paul Church in Princeton, where she
serves on the Spirituality Committee. Please call the

Nativity of Our Lord Student Council
needs your help in supporting those in need!
For the 2nd year in a row we will be collecting
items to fill shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.
This is an organization that sends shoeboxes filled with
small toys, toiletries, and school supplies to children all
over the world who have never received a gift in their
lives.
We are asking you to donate some of these items
so we can fill shoeboxes to send to these children in need.
The Student Council will be collecting your donations
before all masses, Sunday, November 17th. Your help
would touch the lives of many.
Last year we were able to brighten the lives of
200 children. We hope to at least double that this year.
Some suggested items would be – small cars,
balls , yoyo’s, playing cards, jump ropes, slinkys, pens,
paper, crayons, coloring books, toothbrush, toothpaste,
soap, combs, washcloths, socks, hard candy, gum, mints.
Monetary donations are also appreciated to help pay for
shipping. Thank you,
Nativity of Our Lord Student Council
NATIVITY OF OUR LORD SCHOOL
SPONSOR A STUDENT
SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Nativity Parishioners,
Do you shop online? Would you be willing to earn
money for scholarships just to shop online with your favorite merchants??
Our school is once again participating in SchoolStore.com program which began on Oct. 25th. This online
program will help our school earn cash directly for our
Sponsor -A-Student fund YEAR ROUND without students
selling door-to-door, collecting money or delivering products. Over 200 merchants, including Sears, Target and WalMart.com, have joined together to offer up to 50% of sales
to our school for shopping through SchoolStore.com. You
can see the list of participating retailers on the site to find
your personal favorites.
During the Christmas season and beyond, shop and
support our school by simply going to
www.schoolstore.com and select our school entering the
city and state and locating Nativity of Our Lord School from
the list of participating organizations. Our school account #
is: 120010. Look for direct link to Schoostore.com in the
near future on our parish website.
Next time you want to shop online, try this out and
see how easy it is to patronize your favorite merchants AND
help fund our financial assistance program at the same time.
Spread the word to family and friends so they can help, too.
Last year participants helped us earn $618.00 for
the Sponsor a Student Scholarship fund. That is worth 2
monthly tuition payments for one student! Our teachers also
earned over $2000.00 in Caring for Classroom gift cards
donated generously by program participants that enabled
them to purchase books, educational videos and classroom
materials.
Thank you for your continued support of our school
and its efforts and in helping the scholarship fund for tuition
assistance.
Remember: This program will be in effect all
through the year, so remember us whenever you shop
online!!!
