A message from Fr Jacek
Today is the birthday of the Church, welcome dear
parishioners and visitors this Pentecost weekend. Saturday evening at our 5pm Mass we embrace our
young families, as we gather for the whole school
Mass, a time to give thanks for our parish/ school
community. My thanks to our teachers and parents
who helped in the
preparation.
At all Masses this weekend we present our young students preparing for their Confirmation Day on Saurday
4th June. We have 104 candidates from our parish
school and local primary schools. Please keep them
and their families in your prayers. This is a special
time of grace for them and for our parish.
Last Friday evening we had our youth Praisefest in
Terrigal. Many young people came from around the
Diocese to pray, sing and share time together socially.
Our young WYD pilgrims joined in on the Pentecost
celebration
This weekend, on behalf of the school and parish
families, we would like to congratulate Janette
Merrotsy, our Parish Pastoral Associate/Secretary on
the 20th Anniversary of working in the parish office.
We thank her, for her care and dedication. May God

As Pope Francis notes in Amoris Laetitia, “The Church is a
family of families, constantly enriched by the lives of all
those domestic churches” (AL 87).
