to Poyant Signs and incorporated the company.
1960’s
Len Poyant became General Manager of Poyant Signs.
1970’s
Len Poyant became President of Poyant Signs.
1980’s
Leonard Poyant and Hector Richard took ownership of Poyant Signs.
Sales increased 43% and the staff was greatly increased. A 5000
square foot addition was added to the original building, increasing
the size to 12,000 square feet. Richard Poyant joined Poyant Signs
as a Sales Representative.
1990’s
Poyant Signs purchased Alco Sign Company. Poyant moved into
its new headquarters, a modern 45,000 square foot facility located
in the Business Park in New Bedford, MA. Poyant opened its New
Hampshire location.
2000’s
Richard Poyant became President of Poyant Signs.
Poyant acquired General Signs and opened its Boston location.
Poyant Signs is the largest sign manufacturer in New England.
2009
Poyant Signs Brand Evolution to Poyant begins.

Project Management
Poyant’s team of Project Managers are devoted to providing our customers
with quality service and support throughout their signage experience. The
Project Managers specialize in making sure every project is on schedule
through each phase of the design, permitting, fabrication, and installation
process. It is our responsibility to deliver every project on time, on budget
and with superior quality.
Survey & Permits
Poyant’s Survey and Permits department ensures familiarity with your
business location from field measurement to local codes that govern
signage. We take care of any zoning, permit, or unexpected issues.
Our experience with planning departments, variance boards, design
commissions and procuring landlord approval will give you confidence
in the timely and efficient completion of your project.
Estimation
Poyant’s Estimating department is equipped with custom estimating
software that is specially designed for the sign industry. We combine
competitive pricing with excellent customer service for the best value
on the market. Our team value engineers every project to ensure
it stays on budget.

Fabrication
Our team of fabricators use their expertise and craftsmanship to guarantee
that every sign is built to the highest level of quality. The fabrication team
is comprised of five specialized departments including Architectural Metal,
CNC Modeling, Electrical, Graphics, and Product Finishing. Our 50,000
square foot facility has the most recent innovations in computerization
and manually operated fabrication equipment. With our knowledge,
creativity, and state of the art technology, we bring your vision to life.
Installation
Poyant’s fully licenced and insured team of installation experts have local
and national experience. They work around the clock to ensure your signage
is installed on time and to your satisfaction. Poyant’s fleet of 12 state of the
art vehicles include a 160 foot crane, a 100 foot crane, five 70 foot Elliot
installation trucks, a 80 foot ladder truck, a bucket truck and several other
service vehicles. Our crews have the expertise to handle any interior or
exterior signage installation project.
