Handwritten letter from William Taaffe to Patrick Reilly
relating the results of the Ardee Union election. Patrick
Reilly, Millockstown, Ardee was a farmer and a member
of the Irish Home Rule League. Reilly ran for election in
Ardee Union in March 1876 and having got the highest
votes in his electoral division, he was elected to the
Ardee Board of Guardians. Collection: Patrick Reilly,
