Shree Swaminarayan Institute of Technology is offering 4-Years degree engineering programme in Mechanical
Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Electronics & Communication
Engineering and Post graduation programme Master of Computer Application (MCA). College emphasizes the all-round
development of its students. It aims at producing not only good professionals, but also good and worthy citizens of a
great country, aiding in its overall progress and development. It endeavors to treat every student as an individual, to

Eligibility criteria for admission
Eligibility criteria for admission
(1) Students shall have appeared in the Common Management
Aptitude Test (CMAT) as prescribed by AICTE & ACPC, for the
corresponding year.
(1) Students who have passed 12th Standard examination
in science stream with physics, chemistry and mathematics
subject from any recognized board.
(2) Students shall have passed the qualifying examination with
minimum of 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/SEBC
category candidates) for admission in 1st year of MCA.
(2) Students have also appeared in the JEE main examination.
(3) Candidate shall passed qualifying examination in the
stream Bachelor of Computer Applications or Bachelor of
Science (IT) or Bachelor of Science (Computer) with minimum
50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/SEBC category candidates)
for lateral entry admission (direct in 2nd Year).
(3) Students should have passed with minimum 45% marks
(40 % for SC/ST/SEBC candidates) in physics, chemistry and
mathematics (in theory and/or theory and practical both).

MASTER OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS
Department of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) was
established in the year 2001 with an intake of 60 students, with
the approval of AICTE and affiliation to the Gujarat University and
currently affiliated with Gujarat Technological University.
The current intake in MCA is 120. MCA is a 3 years (six semesters)
and 2 years (lateral entry, 4 semesters) full time course. Admission
to this course will be done through entrance test CMAT which is
conducted by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE)
every year as well as NON-CMAT student can apply for this course.
MCA is a Masters degree, which has a very broad theoretical base
in Computer Science; it gives tremendous flexibility and adaptability
to
work
with
different

Technologies.
