Leix & Samu’s new vinyl label NOVOTEK RAW SERIES is a powerful surprise. The
first release comes from 1000Smiley Faces & Angel Mora, whose sublime work
emphasizes good taste over trends.
‘Bloody Mary’ is an excellent piece of music carved from the solid foundations of
classic house. The successful fusion of filtered house with flashes of classic Chicagostyle, completely permeates this authentic sound orgy.
David Labeij’s remix, usually on labels like Area Remote, Kiara or Eklektisch among
others, stands out completely from the original mix, giving it much more modern and
groovy feel.
"Wave jerks" reveals the deep and introspective side of the Balearic producers. A
remarkable work constructed from a skeletal rhythmic groove that evolves through
appropriate chord progression.
Leix gives his personal view of "Wave Jerks" made with his usual musical style. Sober
and efficient beats give a few twists to the original cut and achieves a successful
sound.

quienes firman un sublime trabajo en el que prima el buen gusto por encima de las
modas o tendencias.
“Bloody Mary E.P” se destapa como una excelente pieza musical esculpida sobre los
sólidos cimientos del house de antaño. La acertada fusión del filtered house con
destellos clásicos al más puro estilo Chicago, impregna por completo esta auténtica e
impoluta orgía sonora.
El remix corre a cargo de David Labeij, habitual de sellos como Area Remote, Suara,
Kiara o Eklektisch, entre muchos otros. En el que el holandés se desmarca por
completo del corte original dándole un enfoque mucho más actual y groovy.
“Wave jerks” nos descubre el lado más profundo e introspectivo de los productores
baleares. Un notable trabajo construido a partir de un groove esquelético y cadencioso
que evoluciona gracias a una adecuada progresión de acordes.
Leix da su visión personal de “Wave Jerks” confeccionándolo con su habitual estética
musical. Beats sobrios, eficientes y algo musculosos que le dan un par de vueltas de
tuerca al corte original para alcanzar un sonido mayúsculo y exitoso.

Frann Delice and Xuzav known djs and producers of the underground scene, residents
of the “Partiezulos Club”, decided to join their talents together in the AKA 1000Smiley
Faces, taking the first hit “Se abre el telón”.
His firsts productions have been in the spotlight of the electronic scene, charted by
artists like Richie Hawtin, Joris Voorn, Wally Lopez among others, and also remixed of
Dani Casarano, Felipe Valenzuela, Golden Bug and more.
Finally, highlight the big support by Richie Hawtin to his track called "Run Ran Run",
which was charted in his top of June, and played around the world.

Angel Mora was 17 when he began to make contact with the sounds of Deep House.
Always looking for innovative sound in his hometown Palma de Mallorca, made him a
favorite of many clubbers.
As for his role as a producer that has worked with labels such as Lust Recordings,
Soulman Music, Anhura Records, Recycle, Pacha Recordings and Gimmick.

David Labeij (27) started dj-ing in 1998. As soon as the minimal scene emerged in
Europe, David was one of the first to start promoting the "clicks and cuts" full heartedly
in the Netherlands, through spinning, and organizing the infamous "Berlin
Underground" nights in Amsterdam, with appearences by Richie Hawtin, Zip, Magda,
Ricardo Villalobos, Sammy Dee, Tom Clark and Ata. Simultaniously he started
producing his own material.
As a result of sending out demos during 2003 he was asked to spend some time in
Junkie XL's studio so he could improve and develop his production skils, after which
David spent most of his free time producing in his own studio set up.

Since the beginning of his career he began to delight the audience at various clubs in
Valencia before moving to Barcelona to focus his efforts on developing professionally
and establishing himself as a producer. During this stage he accepted performances
and residencies at Barcelona and Valencia that allowed him to share his cabin with
artists like: Marco Carola, Johnny D, Luna City Express, Daniel Sanchez and Boris
Werner among others.
Actually combines his studio work and performances with the direction of his project
label Novo Music, presents at events like "Sonar Off" Barcelona and "ADE"
Amsterdam.
His productions give us another perspective on the underground music, making it one
of the best club sounds in Europe. Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Luciano, among
others, support his productions.
