Josh Hines Appointed to the Board
Due to the retirement of Judy Faccenda from
Superior Federal Credit, Josh Hines of the
Holiday Inn Express was appointed to fill Judy’s
unexpired term which will end December 31,
2010. Judy was a very hard working Board
member and we wish her much happiness in her
retirement.

The ACCA is providing the manpower to complete
the renovations to the room which is being conducted
by Ed Morris. Renovations include painting the walls
and adding chair rail, upgrading the bathroom and
making it more accessible. The concrete floor will be
covered with vinyl and carpet. The Wapak Manor and
its corporate office, HCF have contributed $1700 to
complete the flooring upgrade. Johnston Supply has
donated bathroom fixtures.
The Senior Center located in downtown is just one
more important step in making downtown Wapak an
active and viable area for our business community.

Welcome Program Enrollment
The Warm Wapakoneta Welcome
program is your Chamber’s way of welcoming
newcomers to our community. The “goodie
bag” is filled with promotional items provided
by participants and distributed by the Chamber
to new residents.
The investment to participate in the program
is $50/year. Participants agree to provide 100
items for the bag. In the past, these items have
included pencils, flyswatters, ice scrapers, key
chains, flashlights, rulers, magnets, note pads,
etc. Discount coupons are welcome and have
been successful in bringing the new residents
into your place of business.
