E Z H AY A MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP From our Director-at-Large’s Chair: Time is a precious commodity for us all, and I’ve noticed that there is always one more great cause, event or project that I want to get involved in – same for you? I’m glad I make time for Chamber activities because it makes me feel connected, and gives me the satisfaction of giving back while helping to strengthen our business community. Plus, it has allowed me to get to know some really smart, fun people in this region. Those relationships and networking opportunities are strengthening me as an individual and as a professional. I’m also fortunate that my employer, Inland Hospital, encourages staff to be involved in our community. I’ll bet your company does the same thing – or would if you asked! There is room for you or your employees on one of the six committees with the Mid Maine Chamber of Commerce. They include: Community Events, Business Expansion and Retention, Marketing, Public Policy, and Membership Services. Great networking, professional development, and contributing to the success of our business community – that makes it a hat-trick (just in time for the hockey playoffs-Go Bruins!)
