Group B 4 y/o kinder: Tuesday
and Thursday 8.30am to 4.00pm
3 year old kinder: Tuesday,
Wednesday and Thursday
9.15am to 12.15pm.
2016 Fees
The fees will be comparable to
other community kinders in the
Cardinia Shire.
$1380 for 4 year old and
4 Year old and 3 Year old

Thank you for your interest in St
Clare’s Early Learning Centre.
The ELC opened at the start of the
2015 school year offering Kinder
and Pre Kinder. The ELC will serve
both Parish Primary Schools in Pakenham Parish. (St Clare’s and St Patrick’s). The schools will be zoned within the Parish according to your residential address. Whilst (if you are a catholic family) you have the guarantee of a
Prep placement at a Catholic school
within the Parish, you cannot just
choose which one. Non catholic families will be accommodated where there
is sufficient space in the schools.
To qualify for Kinder enrolment you
must live in Pakenham Parish
(between Dore Road in the east and
Gum Scrub Creek in the west.)
Pre Kinder children must turn three by
April 30th in the year in which they are
enrolled & cannot attend until after they
turn three.
To attend Kinder a child must turn four
by April 30th in the year in which they
are enrolled.
Enrolments are accepted at any time
and placement offers will be sent out at
the end of July of the year prior to your
child’s attendance.
About the Early Learning Centre
The St Clare’s Early Learning Centre will
operate as the community kindergarten of
St Patrick’s Parish Pakenham serving both
the Parish schools.
Initially, four year old kinder will be in
groups of approx. 25 children with a
qualified Kinder teacher plus a qualified
assistant. The ELC will also have a
Teacher Director. Groups will operate for
15 hours per week in line with Government
commitment.
In 2016 the Federal Government has indicated a change to child / adult ratios which
will mean a change to groups of 33 with 3
staff. Facilities have been designed for this.
