PURPOSE OF THIS MANUAL
Dear Exhibitor: This Manual has been prepared by the Organizing Committee of the 42th proveeduria
international fair, Machinery and industry Fashion Leather and Footwear, American ANPIC Fair 2013 in his
edition Autumn – Winter, to receive all the information required for participaction in the event, from the
moment hiring the stand until the close of the exhibition.

Important Warning
For those foreign exhibitors that require visa for entering Mexican territory, ANPIC informs you that we can
support you with this procedure, free of charge, only if required information is delivered correctly and in time.

ACCIDENTS
Exhibitors are obligated to follow Mexican Employment and Labor Law during download,
exhibition and upload schedule, and will be responsible of all accidents that may occur to their
employees and guests. The Organizer Committee will be not responsible for any accident, that
may happen neither inside nor outside of Poliforum Exhibition Center.
The Organizer Committee is not responsible for any damage, robbery, epidemics, fire, nature
forces, and any other observable fact, incident, or accident that may happen to exhibitors, their
gods, belongings, merchandise, office stuff, equipment and personal computer to guests, visitors
and exhibitors.
FIRE
Exhibitors are responsible for any fire inside their stands, as stated in the Civil Code of the State of
Guanajuato, articles 1933 to 1937.
VIGILANCE AND SECURITY
All material, machinery, equipment, samples, etc. brought into the Poliforum Exhibition Center
must be registered in the inventory forms, previously handed over to exhibitors, which will be
checked and signed by security staff.
When the exhibitors will arrive to Poliforum, they must show the inventory forms to the security
staff. Both sign the forms, the original is handed to the security staff and the copy is handed to the
exhibitor. At the end of the show, exhibitors must show to the security staff the copy of the
inventory forms in order to check their properties. Material, machinery, equipment or samples not
registered in the inventory forms, could not be removed from the exhibition areas if the exhibitors
do not prove their property.
During the move-in, show days and move-out, exhibitors are responsible to take care of their
properties inside the booths. After the exhibition hours, exhibitors and their personnel can not
stay at the booths.
Poliforum Exhibition Center is a Non-Smoking facility. This security regulation applies during the
move-in, show days and move-out.
It is forbidden to interfere with any fire extinguisher, as well as emergency exits.

POLIFORUM’S SAFETY GUIDE
INTRODUCTION
POLIFORUM Exhibition Center holds your safety as a priority, this is why we have developed this
detailed manual to help you in case of a disaster or an accident.
WHAT TO DO?
What you must do before, during and after an incident.
Recommendations that must remember exhibitors and visitors.
BEFORE
Read this manual carefully and try to memorize it’s most important recommendations.
Take a walk around the area where you and/or your booth are located and identify the access to
it, an evacuation route and the emergency exits. We recommend you to take into consideration
the distances between the areas just mentioned and the place in which you are located.
The enclosed floor map corresponds to the areas conforming POLIFORUM Exhibition Center,
please locate your position and mark it off.
Once you have located your position on the floor map,
locate the emergency exits, fire extinguishers and fire hydrants. It is also important that you mark
off the exact location of medical and security services on the floor map.
For the installation and build up of your booth, hire companies or professionals trained and
qualified to do so. Make sure that all the installation work of your booth: walls, furnishings,
electric equipment and display are secure and resistant. Check the electrical installation on a
regular basis.
Keep your booth clean and orderly. Avoid keeping trash in your booth as well as handling any
inflammable materials. For your safety, the use of any kind of toxic chemicals or inflammable
products is strictly forbidden, in the case in which they must be used as an integral part of the
event, the safety norms from POLIFORUM Exhibition Center operations policies must be adhered
to.
DURING
In case you witness an accident or any possible danger, please report the situation immediately to
our Security Personnel, Service Center or to our General Offices. In case of fire, please use the fire
extinguishers if you know how to do so.

In case of a mayor disaster, please remain calm and promote the same attitude among the people

around you. Avoid crowds and leave the Exhibition
in an orderly fashion
through the closest
evacuation route which will get you directly to the outside of the building.
AFTER
Once the situation is under control, go back to your booth and make a thorough visual check
without going in it, in case of any damage make a note of it. Unplug all the power outlets and wait
for the insurance company’s report.
In case of harms or work related injuries, go directly to the Medical Services to get the necessary
medical attention.
GENERAL REGULATIONS
I ADMISSION
To be an exhibitor it is required to hand in an application form and to cover the total cost of their
stands before the deadline October 14 the 2013.
II - MOVE - IN AND DECORATION
Booths will be at the exhibitors disposal for move-in and decoration on November 4, 2013, from
08:00 to
20:00 Hrs. After this move-in authorized schedules, the entrance of materials has a cost, which
must be paid directly to the Poliforum.
Exhibitors must receive their shipments, boxes and general properties at the loading and
unloading areas. The Organizer Committee and the Poliforum are not responsible to receive
shipments, packages, equipment, furniture or materials.
In Hall 4, booths are going to be put at the exhibitor disposal with melamine wall partitions of
2.44Mts. height, cement floor and 1 monophasic outlet of 1 x15 Amperes for each booth.
In Halls 5 and 6 (Shoe and Tanning Machinery Halls), booths are going to be put at the exhibitor
disposal with melamine wall partitions of 2.44 Mts. height, cement floor and 1 triphasic electrical
installation up to 5 HP for each booth. It is necessary to request the electric installation previously.
In case you need additional electricity, please submit a written request to the Organizer
Committee before October 11, 2013.
In Halls 7 and 8, as well as the Lobby of the Poliforum, booths are going to be put at the exhibitor
disposal with melamine wall partitions of 2.44 Mts. height, cement floor and 1 monophasic outlet
of 1 x 15 Amperes for each booth.

Exhibitors must respect the following prohibitions at move-in and decoration of booths:

a) It is not permitted to use material for construction (such as plaster or cement)
b) It is not permitted to paint or to upholster wall partitions, pillars, floor, walls and ceilings.
c) It is not permitted to solder, to stick or to drill wall partitions, pillars, floor, walls and ceilings.
d) It is not permitted to use adhesives, saws, spray guns for painting, cutting or soldering
machines.
e) It is not permitted to hang up braces on fascia and false ceiling.
f) It is not permitted to place divisions or advertisements higher than the wall partitions height.
g) It is not permitted to hang objects of booths stands (plants, advertisements, signals, etc.) on
aisles. Poliforum is empowered to demand payment of damages and losses caused by exhibitors if
these rules are not complied.
It is not permitted to hang up or to hold any objects (logos, signals, flags, etc.) from the ceiling of
the Poliforum and from its structure.
The booth design and decoration must not interfere with the visibility of other booths, and must
not interfere with the signals, emergency exits and aisles.
The maximum height allowed for the booth design and decoration is:
a)Hals 4: 3 meters.
b)Halls 5, 6, 7, 0 and Lobby: 5 meters
In Halls 5, 6, 7 y 8, booths of two levels require an authorized layout signed by a responsible
expert, and it is required to contract an insurance against injuries to the person and property of
others. Any harmed caused by this situation, the exhibitor will have direct responsibility for it.
For security and control reasons, every person in the exhibition areas during the move-in
must carry an identification badge given at the ANPIC office in Poliforum, from October 22, 2013,
onward.
The Organizer Committee and Poliforum will reserve the right of admission to services, such as
construction, advertising, and decoration of booths.

Exhibitors with large or heavy items to be brought into the halls, should contact with their freight
forwarder in order to ensure that adequate lifting services can be made available.
III EXHIBITION
Opening hours from November 6 to 8, 2013, from 10:30 am to 8:00pm
Exhibitors should place at their booths a person in charge from 9:30am to 8:00 pm. The Organizer
Committee is not responsible for any damage, loss or robbery for not complying to this
recommendation.
Admission of children under twelve is not allowed, for their own safety.
It is forbidden to take photographs and to record videos or films inside the show.
It is forbidden to use sound and light within the booth, and the use of advertising media or
audiovisual devices, catwalks, which may bother or damage other exhibitors, or motivate crowds
outside the booths. The Organizer Committee reserves the right to require and keep any
equipment until the end of the exhibition.
It is not permitted to perform special shows outside the booths during exhibition hours, such as
celebrating banquets, if it is a cause of distraction for visitors.
Food and beverage service during the show days is an exclusive service from the Poliforum.
It is strictly forbidden the alcoholic beverages consumption within the booths and in the
common areas.
a) Hostesses, interpreters and personnel in charge of the booths must submit to the general
regulations.
b) The Organizer Committee will reserve the right to demand the withdrawal of hostesses or
individuals whose personal appearance, attitudes or behavior displease exhibitors work or
activities, or may offend the image of the show.
For security and control reasons, every person in exhibition areas must carry a name badge.
It is not permitted to exhibit reconstructed and/or used machinery. It is reserved to the Organizer
Committee the right to canceling any booth occupied by such companies during the show. The
Organizer Committee may ask for bills, import documents or invoices to certify the legibility of any
merchandise.

IV CLEARING
Clearing of booths and removal of samples will take place from November 9 - 10, 2013, from 8:00
am to 8:00 pm.
It is not permitted to clear the booths and to remove samples before the closing of the show.
Exhibitors that do not fulfill this regulation could receive a penalty of the Organizer Committee.
Exhibitors must have their own security staff at their stands during the move-out.
During the move-out, every person in the exhibition areas must carry a badge.
Clearing booths dates and time will be strictly respected. Any expense caused by a late clearing
must be settle directly to the Poliforum Exhibition Center.
VII GENERALITIES
The EXHIBITOR assumes the total legal responsibility for the introduction, to the Exhibition, of the
products and/or machinery that fulfill all the legal requirements demanded by the Mexican
legislation; such as, among others, the import transact and the corresponding payment of the
taxes and duties that could be generated, separating, specifically, to ANPIC, A.C. of any
responsibility inherent to such circumstances and completely assuming administrative, fiscal,
mercantile, civil, penal and/or labor responsibilities and obligations, among others, that such legal
acts or facts could generate.
It is strictly prohibited to the EXHIBITOR to use the name of ANPIC, A.C., to make imports of
machinery, products or any supplies, without the express authorization in writing of ANPIC, A.C.

EXHIBITOR’S DIRECTORY ENTRY
1.In order to enter the company information that you whish to be included in the ANPIC 2013
Exhibitor’s
Directory,
you
will
have
to
visit
the
ANPIC
web
site:
http://www.laferiadeamerica.anpic.com, and within the site you will have to click in the option of:
“EXHIBITORS”. Then you will have to click in: “NECESSARY REGISTRIES” and after that in: “MAKE
REGISTRIES NOW”.
2. Immediately a page will be opened in which it will request your user
I.D. and password, previously provided by ANPIC.
3. In case you have participated the last edition of ANPIC, please confirm or update the registered
information.
4. Then it will appear a form named “General Information for the Exhibitor’s Directory” in which
you will be able to capture your general data as well as your products, branches, marks,
represented companies and the directory’s sectors in where you wish to appear.
5. Review the marked fields with the [required] text, these fields are necessary to process the
information, specially the “E-mail” field, because this field will be needed later.
6. When you have finish capturing the required fields, click the “Send Information” button, in order
to process the information.
7. If the capture was properly made, it will appear “The Exhibitor Registration”, in which you will be
able to verify the information provided during the registry procedure and that will appear in the
ANPIC 2013.
Exhibitor’s Directory. Once it has been closely reviewed you need to ratify the information by
clicking the option “Confirm Registration” or in its defect you will have to click “Modify
Registration” in order to change the needed data and confirm it afterwards.
8. Once that the entered information has been validated, an E-mail will be sent to the provided
address captured in the form, and it will include the confirmation of the processed information.

9. At this moment, the “General Information for the Exhibitor’s Directory” procedure will be
concluded and you will have the option to continue with the capture of your “Exhibitor’s Name
Badges” and the “Fascia board”; for it, we suggest you to read the instructions in the following
pages.
EXHIBITOR’S BADGES REQUEST
1. Follow the steps 1 and 2 of the “Exhibitor’s Directory on line Entry”
2. In order to capture your name badges, you should click in the option “Name Badges” in the
upper right menu.
3. Then, it will appear in your screen a table titled “Registered Name Badges”. If it’s the first
time that you enter this option the table will appear blank.
4. In order to begin entering the information, you will have to click the option “Add a Name
Badge”. Then it will be load a form in which you could be capturing the required data for it
(Name/Surname/Position). Once you finished the capture, you will have to press the
“Send” button in order to register the information.
5. After that, you will see the “Registered Name Badges” in which it will appear the names
that you have previously registered.
6. In order to finish this procedure click the “Exit” option in the upper menu, if you need to
register more name badges, you must repeat the step No. 4 as many times as you need. To
modify or to eliminate one of the captured name badges, you will have to click the
corresponding option.

7. Finally, it will appear a text announcing “Thank you, you have finalized the registry
session” and you will be able to close the window.
