Riches of this world will not bring true happiness, doing God’s will can. Are you ready to let go of all that holds you back from hearing God’s call to serve as a deacon, religious or priest? Call Fr. Chris Luoni at 330744-8451 or [email protected]. Intercession for Life – Let us pray for all who are tempted to suicide that through our love and faith we might encourage them to embrace the cross and to live in obedience to their loving Lord. The Year of Faith – “For faith is the beginning and the end is love, and God is the two of them brought into unity. After these comes whatever else that makes up a Christian gentleman.” St. Ignatius of Antioch, Letter to the Ephesians View this bulletin online at www.TheCatholicDirectory.com Affirming the Sanctity of Marriage – An Invitation Bishop Murry invites couples who are married civilly but not in the Church to inquire about beginning the validation process (Having your marriage blessed by the Church). WORLD MISSION SUNDAY – OCTOBER 21, 2012 Every year something special happens on the next-to-the-last Sunday of October – the Church reflects its deepest identity – as the Church in Mission. On World Mission Sunday, we are called in a special way to be “missionaries of faith” through prayer and participation in the Eucharist and by giving generously to the collection. In a world where so much divides us, World Mission Sunday rejoices in our unity as missionaries! And it provides an opportunity to support the lifegiving presence of the Church among the suffering and the poor in more than 1,150 mission dioceses. Pope Benedict XVI prays that World Mission Sunday and the Year of Faith (October, 2012 through November, 2013) will bring “renewed energy to the mission of the world Church to lead men and women out of the desert toward friendship with Christ who gives fullness of life.
