1 ✂ How to play: Step 1: Use some scissors to cut the square out of the cover. Find a friend and shut the “Fortune Teller”. Ask your friend to pick a number between “1” and “8”, (e.g. “6” ). Count out the number the friend has chosen by moving the flaps in and out and side to side (“6”). Open the “Fortune Teller” to reveal the numbers and ask your friend to pick one (e.g.“2”). Reveal the answer written on the inside of the flap. Now you can try the next game. City-Country-Paper Game 1: “City-Country-Paper” Choose a number of categories. We recommend “City”, “Country”, “Paper”, “Colour”, “Job” and “Name”, but there is scope for you to use your imagination. Choose a letter that you would like to use in the game. Your friends have to come up with words in the category that start with the same letter that you have chosen, as quickly as possible. The fastest player wins. Paper Planes 6 3 1 Step 2: Turn the paper over. Fold each corner of the paper towards the centre. 8 Game Instructions, “Fortune Teller” Break Noughts and Crosses 6 2 ✂ Game 8: „Paper Planes” Take a sheet of paper and use it to make your own “paper plane”. The plane that glides the furthest, wins. Rock-Paper-Scissors The “Fortune Teller” is ready. Game 7: “Who am I?” Pick a name (e.g. the name of a famous person) for each player. Don't let any of the players see the names until the game starts. Stick one label on each person's forehead. Your friends try to guess who they are. You can only respond with “yes” or “no” answers. The player who guesses correctly wins the game. 5 7 4 3 2 18 Game 6: “Break” Allow yourselves a break and have a coffee. Who am I? 7 Game 4: “I Spy with my Little Eye …” … “something e.g. green”. Your friends try to guess what the object is. You can only respond with “yes” or “no” answers. Your friends have to keep guessing until they pick the correct answer. Game 5: “Rock-Paper-Scissors” For this game you only need your hands. A sheet of paper (made by holding the hand flat) covers a rock (fist). A rock can smash scissors (extending your index and middle fingers and holding them apart) and scissors can cut paper. Step 5: Slip your thumbs and pointer fingers under the four flaps. I Spy with my Little Eye 5 Step 4: Fold the square in half. I'm Packing my Suitcase 8 1 Game 3: “I'm Packing my Suitcase” … for a trip to Iggesund and I'm taking… The first player thinks of a word and uses it in the sentence (e.g. “…I'm taking a t-shirt with me”). The next player repeats the sentence and adds something else. The game continues until someone can’t remember the list anymore or somebody makes a mistake. 4 8 Step 3: Turn the paper over. Fold each corner of the paper towards the centre again. Game 2: “Noughts and Crosses“ One of the players draws a board creating a 3x3 grid of squares. Players alternate between drawing “X's” and “O's” on the board until one player has three in a row, horizontally, vertically or diagonally. The player who is able to draw three “X's” or three “O's” in a row, wins.
