PROGRAM

Project TLC
Saint Andre Home recently received a grant in the
amount of $400,000 from the Next Generation
Foundation to establish Maine’s first residential
treatment program and safe house for survivors of
human trafficking. The Program will provide mental health and substance abuse treatment, counseling and rehabilitative services to women over the
age of 18, who have been trafficked. Additionally,
an important component of the Program is providing these women with the educational needs and
vocational support they will need to find employment and be financially independent.
Project TLC, the fundraising effort by Saint
Andre Home to open a safe house for survivors of human trafficking has been so successful
thanks in part to your support - that we will be
opening the program in May 2015. The Program
will be called ‘Hope Rising: a branch of Saint Andre
Home.’
-
How you can help a survivor of human trafficking
Donate.....
$1 -$5 - and you can write a note of encouragement for a survivor that will go into her Welcome Basket when she arrives at the home.
$10 - and you will receive a Hope Rising grocery tote that you can carry to raise awareness
of human trafficking.
$ 25 - and you can provide a Welcome Basket and include a written note of encouragement
in a basket a client will receive upon arriving at our home.
$50 - we will purchase a gift card to Target, TJ MAAX, Kohl’s or Walmart and include your
written note of encouragement with it. We will distribute a gift card to each client and take
them to purchase a change of clothing from the clothes they arrive in. It is important that
they have the opportunity to buy new clothes and make their own choices in comfortable
clothing.
$120 - to cover the co-pays for 10 medical visits at a local medical facility.
$2500 -to pay for ONE month of treatment and housing for ONE client. You will also get a
notecard to write a note of encouragement to a client.
