From the Headmaster
Our term ended with all the
excitement and fun of party games,
pantos, concerts, competitions,
carol services and Christmas feasts.
It has been a special time
throughout the school and in the
boarding community.

We have said farewell to a number
of students and staff who are
moving on; Mr and Mrs Timmins
take up a post at St George’s
School in Hertfordshire and Ms
Cotton moves to new work in
London.
The whole school
showed its appreciation for their
great contributions in so many
aspects of school life - heart-felt
appreciation and warm applause
was given to both in our final
school assemblies.
Two highlights of the year for
many are of course the Cathedral
Carol Service and the Pre-Prep
Nativity play where all our
children performed superbly once
again. We are most grateful to the
Dean for speaking at the service
and to our Chaplain, Mr Tugwell,
and our Director of Music, Mr
Frost, who prepared such a
beautiful service! Over £1,400 was
raised from the retiring collection
in aid of our charity, The
Canterbury Street Pastors, for
which many thanks.
We hope you will enjoy a most
wonderful Christmas and a happy
New Year!
