OLL Supports Respect Life During October
During the month of October, our students
worked hard to support the pro-life cause.
Student Council and the NJHS at OLL
sponsored a bake sale during lunch. Proceeds of the bake sale along with diapers
collected throughout the month of October
were given to our local chapter of Respect
Life during our Morning Prayer assembly.
Cheetahs say “No!” to Drugs
OLL Cheetahs just finished celebrating Red Ribbon
Week. During this week, our students were educated
about the many dangers of drugs. They also expressed
their support by participating in the many activities
planned for the week. On Monday, the theme was
“These Cheetah Paws Don’t Do Drugs”. Students
showed off their spirit by wearing yellow and blue accessories. On Wednesday, the students were “Too Cool to
do Drugs” by sponsoring an ice cream sale during all
lunches. On Thursday, students “Joined the Fight
against Drugs” by wearing superhero shirts/capes with
accessories.

The Vocation Blessing Cup is a wonderful instrument of prayer and devotion for
our parish families. The Cup reminds each host family that it is their responsibility to
pray for and foster vocations to the priesthood and religious life. A family is asked to
host the Vocation Cup for one week. It will travel from home to home as a sign

Our Lady of the Lakes Church will again this year be collecting food for the needy families in
our community. The items turned in will be used to complete food baskets. Our goal is to
feed over 300 families so we encourage you to send in as many items as possible. The items we
