Lodging Information
Everyone is responsible for booking their own lodging reservations for this event. Army Lodging
on post is not available during those days due to existing reservations for the new International
Fellows arriving early for language training. A block of rooms has been set aside at two hotels in
Carlisle under the name Army War College Foundation. Comfort Suites is centrally located in
downtown Carlisle near the town square. Holiday Inn Express is a newer hotel located on
Harrisburg Pike at the intersection of the PA Turnpike and close to exit 52 on I-81. If you
choose one of these two hotels, please call that hotel NLT 5 April and ask to reserve one of
the blocked rooms under the “Army War College Foundation” group name.
NOTE: The Foundation is not endorsing any particular hotel. This list is provided for
your convenience only. There are lots of other hotels and Bed & Breakfasts in the
Carlisle area, in various price ranges and with various amenities. Google “Carlisle, PA
hotels” for more.
