We believe that a woman’s place in in the jungle. Yes – the jungle! Join Sandra Brunner owner of Go Pilates and Trish Krause, a Certified Nurse Practitioner, Nutritionist and
owner of Bite Out of Life as they lead this special ‘Metreat’ for women to decompress and
take care of themselves on the pristine Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica. The goal is to treat
women who live incredibly busy lives and frequently feel that they come last on their ‘to do’
lists. It’s time that they took care of themselves and are rewarded for taking care of everyone and everything else. There are no expectations or pressure to do or be anything except
take care of your needs on this one time 8-day excursion to The Samasati Resort in Puerto
Viejo, Costa Rica. We’ll provide some enriching options for group adventures in the rainforest treetops, at a sanctuary for sloths, a daily dose of stress-busting pilates in the sun and
the opportunity to be inspired by some holistic culinary demonstrations and health talks.
Or, guests can just hunker down and relax in hammocks if they prefer. You’ll return home
rested, invigorated and inspired on this soulful getaway.

Upon arrival you will be picked up from the airport and
transferred to the Casa Conde Hotel (or similar).

After a hearty Costa Rican breakfast of gallo pinto, eggs,
fruit, and robust coffee you’ll will be transferred to Puerto
Viejo to the Samasati Nature Retreat. The journey is about
4 hours to get there but you’ll make a stop in the Braullio Carrillo National Park to take part in the Arial Tram.
On this rainforest adventure you’ll literally fly through the
forest, viewing the sub canopy (middle part of the forest),
the upper canopy and its hanging gardens. You’ll discover
plants and forms of life that hide in the forest treetops, an
unknown world of incredible beauty and an extraordinary

This morning you’ll have a leisurely breakfast and enjoy the
last of the Samasati Resort before packing up and heading to the Sloth Sanctuary close to Cahuita National Park.
The purpose of this sanctuary is to protect and rehabilitate
sloths with special needs and to utilize environmental
