Tarkett Sommer Safe.T - Serious Floors for Serious Situations
Tarkett Sommer Safe.T has been developed to provide a range of
'Serious Floors for Serious Situations'. Designers, end users and
buyers have been consulted to ensure that the Safe.T collection meets
the demands for a true slip resistant surface.
Heterogeneous and now a unique homogeneous version are available to
provide varying degrees of slip resistance and performance.
Tarkett Sommer’s considerable technical experience has been used to
develop a safety floor range with excellent slip resistant characteristics
but also with high performance, easy installation and most importantly
with the unique new surface Safe.T Clean, it's much easier to clean and
maintain than traditional safety floors.
How is Slip Resistance Measured ?
Design has not been forfeited at the cost of performance.
Safe.T is available in a pallet of colours and designs, from the subtle
to the dramatic.
Safety multicoloured welding rod range.
A Safety multicoloured welding rod collection has been developed to
coordinate perfectly with the Safe.T ranges to provide an excellent final
result enabling the product to blend perfectly with the welding rod.

Slip resistance is measured by a ramp test (DIN 51130), where the surface of the ramp is
soiled with oil. The slip resistance of an operator wearing shoes is measured at different degrees
and the ramp is inclined.

Titan Plus Safe.T is the ultimate Safe.T vinyl
flooring, providing the perfect balance between
slip resistance and ease of maintenance.
Titan Plus Safe.T
Silicium
Designed with R11 grade applications in mind, it is constructed
using micro particles of aluminium oxide and carborundum chips
for extra grip.
At 2.5 mm thick with a wear layer of 0.80 mm, Titan Plus is ideal
for very heavy traffic areas such as industrial kitchens and larger
food preparation operations, where slip resistance and hygiene are
prime considerations.
Built-in fungistatic and bacteriostatic Sanitized treatments provide extra peace of mind.

Practicality is complemented by style with the Titan Plus
Silicium palette of eight colours that gives a sense of depth.

Titan Safe.T has an R1O slip-resistance rating enhanced by the inclusion of
aluminium oxide.

is a formal metal plate pattern with an aluminium appearance, both are ideal
for use in areas requiring slip resistance and a modern contemporary image.

designs using the new Safety multicoloured welding rod which is co-ordinated

This product can also be used in combination with other Tarkett Sommer resilient vinyls for areas where less slip resistance is required.

easy to clean surface which reduces maintenance costs.

Eminent Safe.T
Eminent Safe.T is the first truly homogeneous
safety flooring on the market.
The unique safety features of Eminent Safe.T provide a slip resistance
rating of R10, and are integrated throughout the entire thickness of
the product with the addition of aluminium granules. This is possible
due to the unique manufacturing processes available only to Tarkett
Sommer.
Coving this product up a wall or vertical surface is easier due
to Eminent Safe.T´s flexibility. The less abrasive construction is
also kinder for installers to work with and causes less damage and
blunting to installation tools.
Eminent Safe.T is available in 10 colours which can be
combined with other Tarkett Sommer homogeneous vinyls
such as Eminent, Granit and Optima to create stunning or
subtle effects. A recommendation is to use these conven-

tional products in those parts of the room where high slip
resistant properties are not needed, i.e. under workbenches, storage
areas or other similar areas.
A special multicoloured safety welding rod range has been developed
to co-ordinate perfectly with the Eminent Safe.T range. The welding
rod range, Safe.T rod, contains particles ideal to assist in camouflaging

The new unique surface treatment called Safe.T Clean produces a
finish, which is extremely durable and easier to clean than traditional
safety floors.
This provides a continuously better looking floor and long-term
savings in maintenance costs. What is achieved is a perfect balance
between slip resistant and easy clean properties.
