04. 95. 25. 91. 19 Summits of corsica Starting in the centre of Corsica, this wild and athletic trail will take you to the north of the GR20 and to craggy and forgotten paths. With mythical hikes on the highest summits of the island, swimming in turquoise water, altitude sheepfolds, hanging lakes and a mineral background, this raid is a wonderful trip through the Corsican mountains. SUNDAY MONDAY Meeting and shuttle at the Ajaccio airport at 1:30 pm. Reception, dinner at the pizzeria “Camping du Soleil” in Tattone. Night under tents. Discovery of a wild glen, secret waterfall, crystalline ponds, hike and swimming. Night in the Camping du Soleil in Tattone. TUESDAY Accommodation Bivouacs near the shelters in appropriate places and campsite. You have to bring your own sleeping bag. ITINERARY We will go to Pietra Piana, passing through the Manganello valley. Lunch on granite rock plates and swimming. Bivouac near the shelter. Difference in altitude: + 1050 m. WEDNESDAY Beginning and end of the trips Meeting at 7 pm at the Ajaccio airport, or you can directly go to the Camping du Soleil in Tattone. To book the transfer, please contact us a few days before your arrival. End of the trip on Sunday, with a free day in Ajaccio. Hike of the Monte Rotondo (2622 m), second highest Corsican summit,where you will enjoy panoramic scenery. Downhill to the Restonica valley, passing through the Cavacciole glen. Nights under tents in Grotelle and dinner at Téo’s. Difference in altitude: + 800 / - 1200 m. Beautiful wild path in the High Tavignano, to reach the Arinella pass. Walk down to the heart of Niolu. We will sleep in tents at a sheep fold, near the Vaccaghia ponds on the Camputile plateau. THURSDAY Porterage Backpack (from 14 to 17kg). You will carry your personal things and picnic for 2/3days with you. TUESDAY TO Level / Ground From 5 to 7 h of walk per day. There are some out of footpath passages and it is possible that we go through névés. Several stages with 1 200m in difference of altitude. SUNDAY Meals It is all included (except drinks).
